Lets start you off in Center City Philadelphia with a live look at the vine street expressway. Its quiet right now.  thats how we like to see it. This is where we typically see the delay later in the morning. As you can see, no delays to report right now. Also in center city, traffic closing 13th street between arch and race street. The new jersey turnpike is clear, so is the 42 freeway. You can see feeds on all of t majors, 50s to 60s. Extremists have captured 60 girls and women and 31 boys in nigeria. This happens after 200 other girls, kidnapped by terror group boko haram. Most of those girls remain missing. No word on exactly who is responsible for todays kidnapping. The Associated Press just tweeted that in fact theres no way to safely and independently confirm the report about the abductions in nigeria. New from overnight, police are searching for the gunman who shot an 18yearold boy cix times in a north philadelphia neighborhood. The teen was shot in the 400 block of glenwood avenue. Police say he walked up a block before he collapsed. The boy is hospitalized, listed in critical condition. Philadelphia Police Detectives are talking to four men, all persons of interest in a rittenhouse rape case. Investigators tell us there could be charges filed later this morning. Nbc 10s katy zachry is following the new developments from the special victims unit this morning. What can you tell us . Reporter i talked with a detective here at special victims unit who tells me he anticipates charges will be filed later this morning. Quite frankly, police are crediting good oldfashioned detective work for finding these four men. The men lived together in the same home at south 8th street and moore, thats in south phclesel th i because from new Surveillance Video released, you can see the suspect locking his bike to a light pole, seconds before he follows the victim and forces her into her Rittenhouse Square apartment where police say she was raped several times and robbed. This happened on the 1900 block of spruce street. Heres a sketch of the man from the victims memory. The victim is 26 years old, a doctor at the hospital of the university of pennsylvania. She was walking home alone after being out with friends early saturday morning. Captain john darby here at svu says that the suspect was violent during the entire ordeal. It appears that he left the location for a short time, only to return, an a second assault does take place. There were repeated assaults and physical assaults that took place inside that residence. Reporter obviously a distressing situation. Detectives say its a fluid situation and things are happening really by the hour. Stephanie amato turn herself in earlier this month. A 14yearold student said he had sex with the 30yearold teacher on several occasions. Amato was removed from ethan Allen Middle School in mayfair after the allegations were made. Later this morning, education advocates and Community Members will travel to harrisburg to ask state lawmakers for more funding for philadelphia public schools. The High School Officials will discuss the refusal bit student editors to print the name of the school mascot, redskins, in the school newspaper. The students say the name is offensive. Administrators say they ignored a director to publish a letter using the name in the june 14th edition. A similar battle is playing out over the nickname of the nfls team in washington. A federal panel ruled last week the name redskins is disparaging to native americans and its trademark is now canceled. The ruling does not force the team to change their name or logo. Officials broke ground yesterday on a 198 million project to widen a fivemile section of the northeast extension of the pennsylvania turnpike. That stretch between mid county and the lansdale interchange will expand from four to six lanes. Three new on and off ramps will also be constructed to help alleviate congestion at the toll plaza. Currently 65,000 vehicles per day traverse this area. The design year for this project is 2030. Its projected to be over 100,000 cars per day. The project is expected to be finished in 201. Officials say a widening project south of this construction should be ready by october. That work has been going on for almost three years now. Happening today, the National Transportation safety board is set to release a report on that deadly asianac Airline Crash in san francisco. The report is expected to explain what caused the crash last july. Experts say a primary cause is expected to be the flight crews overreliance on an automated throttle control. Investigators have said that the plane was flying too slow and low when it struck the sea wall while landing, killing three people and injuring more than 200. Officials in lebanon are investigating after an explosion near an Army Checkpoint there. At least five people were injured in the attack. Officials believe it was caused by a car bomb. The explosion was also near a cafe in southern beirut where people were gathered to watch the world cup. This is the second explosion in lebanon in the past few days.
