Youre talking about the white stuff. Im seeing a lot of green on the traffic maps. And thats the good news for drivers out there this morning. That means no significant delays on the schuylkill expressway and the blue route and the pennsylvania turnpike all looking good out there. And especially because we are not seeing any precipitation on the roads. We are seeing good reason conditions and taking a live look at route 422 in montgomery county. The eastbound lanes are the ones that typically slow down but we dont have a lot of volume out there reflected in the drive times. That means normal problem spots for 95 and the schuylkill expressway and the blue route looking good. Earlier there was a bridge opening on the taconypalmyra. All the bridges are now looking good. Police are investigating after two people were attacked within a matter of a day near west chester universitys campus. One was a student. Nbc 10s katy zachry is live in west chester this morning to tell us more about these attacks. Reporter hi, tracy. We have a street sweeper going by us right now, but according to Public Safety officers they say the attack one happened in this area right on the edge of campus. We are along darlington street. We are in an area sandwiched in between two residence halls. One of the attacks involves a student. Public safety officers say that student was walking alone at night when he or she was approached by three people dressed in dark clothing and they demanded money. Then they hit the student and ran off. Now lets go to a map of the area that shows you another similar attack that happened this weekend. It happened about a half mile from where we are standing on saturday night in an area that appears to be off Campus Student housing. Thats when this other very similar attack happened along east nields street and sharon alley. The suspects demanded money from that individual hit the victim and ran off. Now, if you have any information on who these students are or who the suspects are, if the attacks happened to be connected, call west Chester Borough Police as they are the main agency investigating the attacks. I just checked with University Police and at this time have no information. But they are alerting students on what happened the last few nights. Reporting live katy zachry nbc 10 news. Its 5 33 now. Today pennsylvania lawmakers will hear testimony on a bill that would legalize medical marijuana. The House Judiciary Committee will hear arguments on implications of making medical marijuana legal in pennsylvania and talk about the impacts the legislation would have on health care professionals. The hearing will begin this morning at Pennsylvania Hospital in center city. Well, new Jersey Governor Chris Christie conditionally vetoed a bill to overhaul drunk driving penalties in new jersey. It would have suspended the drivers license and required the use of interlock ignition devices, the things to blow into start your car. Clark said if approved he would like to start the test the shotspotter system in the northeast philadelphia area where Robert Wilson iii was killed earlier this month during a robbery. A Burlington CountyPolice Department announced all their officers will wear body cameras similar to the unwithes youones you see here. They have been researching the technology for two years and think these will reduce lawsuits and officer complaints. The police will require all uniformed officers to wear the cameras and detectives wear them while conducting plain clothed investigations and cameras will be replaced with new ones every 30 to 60 months. To the west we could see the possibility of rain tomorrow. It will be warmer tomorrow with showers pushing toward our area. Thats the first round of showers well have for the next couple of days. Clouds, though with a few scattered showers. The afternoon skies will be clearing with temperatures back into the low to mid40s. Very similar to what we saw yesterday.
