What were told is that three jumped from the second floor of this home. The fire was on the first and second floors there, the people up there were trapped. From what we understand, there were only those thr peoe in the home at theim jumped from that second floor window. One person has a scholler injury. One has a leg injury and one is being treated for smoke inhalation. Again, at this point, we are stillc waiting to hear from th cause of this fire is as the residents of the Neighboring Properties try to go into their homes and salvage what they can. There is some damage, some smoke damage, water damage to some of the Neighboring Properties. You see a lot of these residents that have been standing out here in the street for the better part of a couple hours. Its been raining off and off as well. Theyre having to deal with the elements. Take a listen to the fire chief. We spoke to him not long ago about whats happening right now. Right now, the cause is a determination process, to determine what the cause was. One hose out here at the moment, they did have the ladder truck up here earlier this morning. This fire was put out quickly, in about 20 minutes or so. Those three people are in the hospital right now with a leg injury, a shoulder injury, one person has smoke inhalation. All three of them, were told, jumped from that second floor window at this home in the 900 block of yerkes. For the time being, the other folks who live on this block, in these row homes, theyre doing inside through the door here. Theyre trying to grab clothes, medication. They have their cell phones theyre using. Theres no electricity. Theyre using cell phones to shine some light in there. Ill try and talk with those folks within the next couple hours. Two straigeparate shootings, th first at arctic and kentucky. Three people shot in an apartment complex parking lot, two of them shot in the lower abdomen area. No suspects at that location and then 30 minutes later, 800 block of north maryland, one man shot multiple times. Again, no suspects. Police looking for any kind of information you may have on this. Now to a developing story in missouri. At least five people have been arrested following a second night of protests over the deadly shooting of a teeth ager by police. Police had to use tear gas and rubber bullets late last night after some throw guns and rocks at them. The protests are over the death of 18yearold michael brown. Was unarmed when he was shot and killed on saturday during a scuffle with a police officer. The fbi is investigating this case. There are no looting or vandalism last night as there was on sunday. An autopsy is scheduled for today to determine the exact cause of death of Robin Williams. People have been coming by there all night, the beloved actor and comedian is believed to have committed suicide at his home in northern california. The news broke last nightc arod 7 00. Ed mahoney faces simple assault charges. Hes a teacher at penns grove middle school. The hearing was postponed from may when the judge refused himself because his children are in that district and he felt he was too close to the case. Mahoney allegedly kicked and pushed a student, leaving a bruise on that students arm. Civil Rights Groups want him suspended without pay until the case is decided. A series of home breakins. Authorities say there have been five burglaries on at fluent east side of moorestown during the last couple of months. The most recent happened on albury court. Burglars took more than 200,000 worth of jewelry by ripping out the bedroom safe in the home. Family was away, the alarm wasnt set and they think the back door may have been left open. Were in a safe, secure neighborhood but someone broke into our home, someone was in our bedroom, our bathroom. Residents are asked to keep their eyes open, lock their doors and remember to set the alarm. Investigators are look into the power outage at moreys peer.
