I do think those areas will see strong storms first. When . After afternoon. However, the severe storms expected to start after 4 00 p. M. , potentially dangerous storms after 5 00 p. M. Until 8p p. Reporter well, police not saying how many people are dead. Right now, they are saying there are casualties. The Muslim Council says a van plowed into worshippers leaving a nearby mosque. One person has been arrested. Remember this comes after two weeks after eight people were killed and dozens were injured after a van plowed into a crowd on london bridge. The attacks were carried out by three terrorists who were killed by law enforcement. Now, details in this case continue to emerge. No word yet if this incident is deemed terrorism. We have an issued an alert for everybody across the entire viewing area. I do want to specify i78, i76 youll see the storms moving first into your direction. And then everything headed southeastward across the entire delaware valley. When after 12 00 p. M. I do think well see one or two statered showers earlier. But those thunderstorms sfart to fire up after lunchtime, severe storms after 4 00 p. M. Potentially dangerous storms between the hours of 5 00 p. M. And 8 00 p. M. So now we have a lot of warm air thats really muggy. As this cold air moves in this direction, eastward, it has to shove all that air. And thats when you see the strongest thunderstorms. Notice we are seeing conditions just spotty. Still seeing that southerly wind. And by tomorrow afternoon, this is when we start to see those showers really start to develop. Those pockets of heavy do downpours. As i mentioned in the northwestern corner, 5 00 p. M. We see a really strong line of thunderstorms moving across the area. We are not done yet. I have another pause point here. At 8 00 p. M. Were seeing really strong storms especially if the jersey shore. So kooepd it will be pretty much a wild weather day, denise. Theres no doubt about that. I want to show you the severe Thunderstorm Risk issued by the thunderstorm storm predictor. We are under an enhanced risk. And what that means for us here is we do have the threat of potentially dangerous thunderstorms, especially after 4 00 p. M. But i really do think between the hours of 5 00 p. M. And 8 00 p. M. Is when we will see the strongest storms. And my biggest concern would be wind damage and possibly downed trees. Take it very seriously. So if people are out the door and see sunshine and calm, dont be fooled by that. Really. All the sunshine and calm, thats what destabilizes the atmosphere. Yeah, impacting the evening commute.
