Now, the Opera Company will remain in the small central town where theyre staying. They plan to arrive home on august 29th. Meanwhile, developing overseas, at least one student is dead, 14 others wounded after an attack at an American University in afghanistan today. Staff and dozens of students were trapped inside the campus as militants attacked it with explosives and gunfire around 6 30 local time. The schools president said elite Afghan Security forces arrived on the scene soon after. No word on who is responsible. The Afghan Taliban offshoot of isis has recently claimed a string of attacks aimed at destabilizing the country. Back here at home, new video could help police catch a serial predator who rides his bike while groping women in philadelphia. Investigators released this Surveillance Video today showing the man reaching out and touching a woman as he paddled past her. The same man is a suspect in three other similar incidents this month. That one on 8th street, another on 13th street between mckeen and snider avenue, another on lumbart between 9th and 10th, and a fourth on 15th and fourth. He rides up on his bicycle and gropes her. Reporter heather said whoever ransacked and stole more than 100,000 worth of items from her mothers bridgeton home also took her life. 72yearold bonny suffers from alzheimers. She would give you the shirt off her back. And for somebody to violate her in this manner, it just kills me. And its not about the money. Its just the violation. Reporter she said she left nearly all of her moms belongings at the house after she moved in with her in millville more than a year ago. Its been boarded up since saturday when a neighbor discovered someone had broken in. Her loved ones told police 70,000 in cash, 50 grand in gold coins, electronics and even depressionera silverware and plates were among the items taken. Many others were destroyed. Earlier today, 44yearold tony wright embraced the jurors who acquitted him after less than two hours of deliberations yesterday. A judge ordered the new trial when dna testing revealed that another man assaulted the 77yearold victim in 1991. Since wright has been in prison, he has become a grandfather, and is eager to start this next chapter with his life with his family. I thought i was going to miss something. I dont think i slept a wink since i left last night. The evidence was so compelling for tony, that there really could have been no other verdict. Lawyers from the Innocence Project of new york and attorneys in philadelphia helped wrigtd win his case. He now has plans to spend time with his parents who live in pompano beach, florida. Police say a man was shot and killed as they were breaking into his exgirlfriends home early this morning. Investigators believe the womans current boyfriend pulled the trigger. Theyre still hoping to talk to him this afternoon. The reason being, they say the exboyfriend tried twice to force his way into the home overnight. The second time there was a scuffle. The womans current boyfriend shot and killed the man. He was gone when officers got to the home. Now theyre trying to get him to come forward and talk. 17 people injured at this concert in camden earlier this month are suing. They were among more than 40 people hurt when a railing collapsed at the bb t pavilion. Lawyers representing the 17 detailed the lawsuit this morning. Rapper snoop dogg and kaly fa were performing when the railway gave way. They seek damages from both performers as well as the owners of the pavilion. The first lawsuit is filed against the navy for tainted water in montgomery and bucks county. A family from warrington filed the suit. They live near the former Horsham Air Guard station. They allege their water has been contaminated by Fire Fighting foam previously used. The navy has yet to comment on the lawsuit. 20 minutes of nonstop news continues with some welcome news for a new jersey driver. They could soon be spending less time in line at the Motor Vehicle commission offices. Governor Chris Christie announced today a series of changes designed to reduce the wait times. It will eliminate the fees for online transactions, encouraging drivers to use computers instead of going to offices and thus decreasing the line. That change takes effect in october. Governor christie is promoting a bill that would change expiration dates for licenses and registration from the last day of the month to drivers birthdays. That would spread out transactions instead of causing a jamup. Wine lovers throughout the state can celebrate this afternoon. Wineries throughout the country can now ship bottles directly to their doors. Nbc 10 was in glen mills today. The company packaged and shipped wine under a new license issued by the liquor control board. Pennsylvania passed the law in june allowing wineries to send directly to anyone in the states. Were pleased to see pennsylvanias finally coming out of the dark ages. We were only one of two states with full liquor control by the state. Also utah. The staff of grace winery is one of 48 wineries that have already been approved for a shipping license. Now to a followup on a racial controversy involving a Radio Station that nbc 10 first told you about last night at 11 00. Today it was sports as usually with the phanatic. One of the stations producers created an and imitated a black caller who was heard on the air for two years. Ive been listening to the show, literally across the street from the station here. I wanted to see how he handled the whole controversy. He said yesterday he had no idea the caller was in fact fake. At the start of show on 97. 5, this is the only hint of the controversy surrounding his show. Just like that, it was on to eagles talk, no mention of station producer creating a regularly appearing fake caller, duane. He didnt know duane was real, but after an article, it came out that its not abnormal to have fake callers to just try to stir the spot. But the white producer also had a twitter handle and used a picture of an africanamerican friend for a profile picture. Duane talked often of courting white women and his fear of having illegitimate children. You know what im saying . I didnt think that kid was my kid. Reporter Jason Martinez talked about the end of the line for duane. They appeared to be apologetic that they suggested the character was racially offensive. The Olympic Games may be over, but the scandal involving swimmer ryan lochte is still making headlines. Fellow swimmer now james feegen is apologizing for what he calls a serious distraction at the games. Lochte initially said he had been robbed at the gas station but later admitted to making that story up. Meanwhile, golden girl simone biles returned home from rio today. She arrived back in houston, texas, as you can see to a celebration. Biles is the most decorated gymnast in america. She won four gold medals in team, allaround, vault and floor exercise. She also took bronze in the balance beam. Another member of the womens olympic teammate hit texas today as well. That is Madison Kocian as she arrived in dallas. The five will forever be known as the final five, after bringing home the gold from rio. The olympic countdown is officially on in japan. Look at this. Trump sounded a familiar battle cry today telling the crowd of supporters that he is the candidate, not hillary clinton, to get americans back to work. We will create great numbers of american jobs, beyond anything youve ever witnessed. I will be the greatest jobs president that god ever created. Prior to todays rally, trump visited with volunteers onboard a Voter Registration bus just outside the venue in tampa. Hillary clinton is taking a brief break from going after her opponent in november. Today the democratic nominee is talking about the zika virus. Shes proposing a new fund to improve the federal governments response to major public held crises. If elected, clinton said she will create a Public Health Rapid Response fund. Caesars entertainment is hosting a job fair with several hundred positions up for grabs across our area. The company held a job fair in Atlantic City today. Theyre hoping to fill positions of all kinds in five of their properties. Were talking about 500 jobs to be exact. Most of them are in Atlantic City. We caught up with caesars Talent Acquisition manager. He offered up a few tips on how to make a positive impression, and increase your chances of landing a job. Were looking for somebody who will definitely be upbeat, whether fresh out of college or someone out in business for a long time. If theyve never done the job before, thats fine, we can teach them. The humidity down a little bit over the weekend. So it wont be feeling quite as hot. We have dry conditions across the entire east now. A little bit of moisture. A weak system coming through. Indiana and ohio, and the future cast shows this hour by hour. As we go through the day tomorrow, there might be a couple little showers coming through berks county and Lehigh Valley, poconos. Thats about it. It looks like the rest of the area is dry. Looks like a lot of sunshine back at the shore once again. And then on friday, were looking kind of dry. Very hot. These are the high temperatures tomorrow. Plus the feelslike temperature, how high thats going to get. So Chestnut Hill 88, feeling like 90. Upper mayfield, 88, feeling like 89. Same story in easton. The higher the humidity goes, the bigger the gap of these temperatures. Like, for example, cape may, high of only 79, because of the sea breeze, but it will feel like 89 because its going to be so humid. Tropics continue to be active. Gaston, way out in the atlantic. And this next one could be developing, but it hasnt. Its got a lot of wind with it, a lot of thunderstorms. But its all spread out. Disorganized. And so it is not developed yet. The tracks, once again, continue to head toward florida. Especially south florida by sunday. And then potentially into the gulf of mexico. But the real question is, how strong is that system going to be by the time it gets there. It may not be all that strong. It has to get organized first. Over the weekend, close to 90 degrees in philadelphia. Looks like its going to be dry. A lot of sunshine.
