Reporter i can tell you i just got word that lawmakers who have been involved in behind closed doors talks with blue cross and blue shield are working right now to write a new compromise bill. The horizon issue has been the issue that has been halting this budget being passed. In the meantime new jersey residents are using phrases like selfish, appalling and how dare him. Governor christie insists he is not the one drawing a line in the sand to halt budget negotiations in trenton but his toes were in the sand sunday at Island Beach State Park. You see this line frow allentow a few spotty showers and thunderstorms out there. They are starting to sag southward. Lets go ahead and widen the view. We have another storm system coming up from the north. It is ualmost like a squeeze play. There is the storm system to the south that is driving clouds northward. That is about where the warm front is. We are going to potentially see this line of showers that stretches all the way back into iowa sag southward into our area. Let me take you through hour by hour very quickly. You can see at 4 00 little bit more precipitation than we are actually seeing in the Lehigh Valley bringing a brief shower through the philadelphia area. But by 7 30 about 81 in philadelphia is quiet and clear. We get into 11 00 tonight and just high clouds. That is good news for the pops concert. 87 at 7 p. M. With isolated chance of shower at the concert. I think we will get away with no shower at the concert. 83 at 8 00. There are showers perhaps overnight. For the fourth of july forecast lets go to krystal klei. We have clouds mixing with sunshine picks up across the area and then we are looking at fairly dry morning across the region. In the afternoon we start seeing spot showers developing primarily south of philadelphia but we could see one just creep on into philly, as well. Blu route at westchester pike. Spectacular picture. You can see the load from that tractortrailer completely ripped open. It looks like it is bottles of some type of beverage. Cant tell if it is soda or some kind of juice. It is all over the highway and has been closed since about in quickly rescued. One lane of traffic was passing at that point. In pennsylvania the clock is ticking now for lawmakers to find more money to balance the states budget. They set the 32 billion spending plan but still need more than 2 billion to fund it. The governor has ten days to sign the bill. Pennsylvanias fiscal year began saturday. Delaware has a new budget in place. Governor signed the spending plan earlier this morning after a pair of weekend all nighters. Delaware lawmakers missed their june 30 budget deadline for the first time in decades. Delaware is refusing to hand over Voter Registration data to the white house. The president ial commission is requesting information from all 50 states as it investigates allegations of voter fraud. Delaware Officials Say releasing the data would not be in the best interest of the states voters. More than 20 other states also rejected the request. Pennsylvania said it wont cooperate but the state will sell the commission the same data the public can buy. New jersey has not responded. Federal investigators are heading up the probe into a deadly gas explosion. Utility workers were checking out a report of a gas smell. One worker was killed, three others were hurt. The family that lives here left before that explosion. Firefighters were called to a small fire in mayfair and uncovered a suspected meth lab. No one had to be evacuated. The sinkhole is about 20 feet wide and about four feet deep. The highway was shut down in both directions for repairs. A florida mother and her newborn are fighting for their lives after they were struck by lightning. The woman was nine months pregnant and was walk wg her mom when she was struck. She was rushed to the hospital and delivered her baby seven days before the due date. Tv personality Maria Menounos is resigning from e news as she recovers from surgery to remove a brain tumor.
