Across the major interstates from wilmington to trenton, i95, 295 across 476 and 76, even into new jersey, across the a. C. Expressway, things look better now than earlier today with the rain lightening up. 95 in south philadelphia, traffic is slow, but at least it is moving. Better driving conditions than earlier today with the widespread rain, but now we are watching more rain as we go into tomorrow and there it is down across the southeast, right around atlanta, parts of tennessee and north carolina. Moving in this direction, so that will be the area for your wednesday. So were dealing with two days of rainfall here. Dont put the umbrella away just yet. Visibility is low, too. Two and a half miles in allentown, three in pottstown, coatesville is down to zero mile visibility, so we are looking at fog increasing as we go overnight tonight. Thats going to be tonights forecast. Foggy, drizzle, temperatures staying in the low 50s so thats what we expect by 8 00 tonight. And well see areas of that even through the overnight hours, fog and drizzle around by 11 00 p. M. , low 50s. By tomorrow morning we expect another rainy morning commute. 7 00 we expect the rain around, temperatures low 50s and even some areas of fog around with that rain. Were not going to see clearing until about thursday. Thats going to be our next day with some sunshine. So another rainy day to get through and then conditions improve a lot going into the weekend. Thats according to frances prime minister. During those raids more than 300 weapons were seized. More than 250 people are facing charges. A state of emergency declared in france last month gives police extended power to search and detain suspects. A man believed to have helped secure a hideout for the man behind the terror attacks in paris is now in custody. The 25yearold man is suspected of being a middle man, the only man facing charges in connection with the attacks. He said he provided housing for abdelhamid abaaoud, the mastermind behind the attacks. Abaaoud and his female cousin died in a raid last month. And the u. S. Is expanding its special Operations Force in iraq and syria to help take down isis. The traditional troops will help iraqi and kurdish forces. Defense secretary Ash Carter Says the special operations will be able to conduct raids, free hostages, gather intelligence, and capture isis leaders. However, he did not say how many special op forces will go to syria and iraq. Today iraqi troops began an operation to retake a neighborhood in ramadi from isis militants. Expect the fence to be bigger, especially with recent terrorist attacks and things like that, you cant really take security lightly these days. They are allowing more time to plan permanent larger changes to the white house fence. Some of the ideas that were at one point considered but reje rejected, including an electrified rail and even a mote along the perimeter. Any new permanent fence must include an anticlimb feature, possibly including those spikes. At least four different federal agencies have a say in the project. The two working on it now, the National Parks service and u. S. Secret service and two more that have to approve it, the National CapitalPlanning Commission and u. S. Hour by hour here as we look at future weather, the rain kind of just lingers, mostly just drizzle or light patchy rain tonight. As of 10 00 p. M. , not too much going on. Early tonight is when we see another round getting closer. 9 00 in the morning, especially areas north and west, rain around for the morning commute and could be more widespread elsewhere for the commute, thats what we expect. Then through the afternoon you see the yellows here. Were going to have pretty widespread rain tomorrow afternoon, some of that could be on the heavier side, lasting through part of the evening commute, but then later on tomorrow night, not until about 9 00, 10 00, we should start to see a lot of this die down. Then finally we see the clouds clearing and more sunshine as we go into thursday. Wouldnt be surprised if we had lake effect snow flurries moving into the Higher Elevations of the poconos. Were going to have a gusty northwest wind and snow up to our north and west as some of that could try to blow in. Overall, thursday is the one day we are looking at for our improvement starting off.
