Reporter just two days after the mass shooting that took the lives of 14 people, investigators are zeroing in on the couples motivation behind the attack. We are now investigating these horrific acts as an act of terrorism. Reporter federal Officials SayTashfeen Malik, the female suspect, pledged her allegiance to isis on social media. Malik allegedly made the post on facebook under a different name, then deleted it, but investigators were able to recover it. Im aware of it, were looking into it. Reporter the fbi does not believe isis had direct involvement with either her or her husband, syed farook, but they acknowledge others are being investigated. Officials dont know whether other attacks were planned, but are concerned the couple was flying under the radar. Doesnt make sense. They didnt seem like the type. Reporter as you can see, the hard drive is gone. Reporter today as the couples rented home in redlands, the media was allowed free access to the apartment by the landlord after it was cleared by the fbi. Media had no access to the garage, which had been converted into a bomb making lab, complete with explosive powders and igniters. Investigators recovered hard drives and other media that the couple apparently attempted to destroy, but the fbi says they are confident theyll be able to access whatever the suspects didnt want them to know. Meanwhile, victims families cautioned against blaming an entire faith community. These are the two that did it, focus on that, and thats it. Reporter an investigation now focused on an act of terrorism. Investigators are also looking into how the couple got their hands on the guns and explosives but say so far no arrests have been made. Bowman moved to california 15 years ago, working for the San Bernardino county department of public health. Today pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf offered his condolences to the bowman family. Thousands of Police Officers from across the country attended the funeral of a Pennsylvania Police officer killed in the line of duty. Officer lloyd reed was killed saturday as he was responding to a Domestic Violence call. Prosecutors say he was shot by ray shetler outside a home in new florence, a bullet hit him in the area of his chest that wasnt protected by his bullet proof vest. Todays funeral was held at the war memorial in florence, where reed was remembered by fellow officers. Lloyd died the way that he lived, trying to help somebody. Rest in peace, my friend. Take over the watch from here. Police say shetler ran from the scene, they found him six hours later. Hes now charged with criminal homicide. A 37yearold man is charged with dui after crashing into a police car in south philadelphia. Nbc 10 here at 25th around 12 30 this morning. Police say the driver of this red car slammed into the back of the police cruiser. The officer has minor injuries. It is now five months without a budget for pennsylvania. Governor tom wolf today said that he thinks an agreement is close. Senators are expected to work through the weekend, but as nbc 10s lauren mayk tells us, thats little comfort to the many state funded agencies in our area struggling to stay open. Were learning from police that this man allegedly called in a bomb threat to philadelphia international. Yesterday Police Received two calls from a pay phone regarding a bomb at the airport. Surveillance video showed this man making those calls. Security swept the terminals and did not find anything. Its kind of chilly at night because of the clear skies, and then it will warm up during the day. So its going to be mild compared to the average december temperature. And its going to be a sunny weekend, too. So great for shopping or just about anything outdoors, except for skiing. The people who like to ski are sorely disappointed with this weather pattern. We have clear skies out there right now, 50 degrees, the wind only nine miles an hour, so there is no wind chill issue tonight.
