People are starting to kind of trickle in a little more so now that people are getting off work. Some families are showing up. Many have been taking the nice weather as an opportunity to eat outside or at least take a scenic walk up the main drag. Some have been walking their dogs. Considering its Restaurant Week and many locations are offering specials, you couldnt ask for better weather. So how are you liking the weather out here today . Its very nice. Its really beautiful. Its very nice. It hasnt been like this in awhile. We came from philadelphia university. And e we came to have a nice lunch because its beautiful weather. Main street is beautiful today. That was just a handful of the people we were talking to. Look at the temperatures. Made it up to 81 degrees in philadelphia. Just a few degrees short of tying the record for warmth. Those remarks came as sean spicer asked about a recent chemical attack that killed dozens of people in syria. E we didnt use chemical weapons in world war ii. Outside north park elementary the community poured out their sadness in the form of flowers and loving notes. Around 10 30 yesterday morning Cedrick Anderson got clearance after telling the staff e he needed to drop something off for his wife. When he entered, karen smiths special education classroom he began firing killing his wife, an 8yearold and gravely injuring a 9yearold. He then killed himself. He was a short distance into the classroom. Anderson has a criminal record that includes weapons, drugs and domestic voi lens charg charges. Karen smith moved out and the couple was estranged. Smith leaves behind four children and e three grandchildren. She was very special to a lot of people. Medical marijuana advocates say they are day to take on Jeff Sessions and what they are calling a new war on weed. They are lobbying congress to pass legislation that would protect users of medical marijuana who comply with state laws. Currently federal law prohibits any use of marijuana. Advocates are concerned the new attorney general is taking a hard line stance.
