The Severe Thunderstorm Warning extended until 5 45. Not quite down to the shore, but im sure that it will be as long as this maintains itself. It does look like it will because its very well organized roigt now. It is just on top or about to be on top of pemberton. It will be getting the heavier rain in just a couple minutes. Lacey at 5 43. If we extend this to the shore, Atlantic City at 6 15. Its interesting that these storms were moving west to east and start making a right turn. Thats what took it down to philadelphia and will take it to Atlantic City. This is a different kind of storm. This is a Tropical Storm in the gulf of mexico coming to make landfall. Tremendous amounts of rain over the south. And then some of that moisture moving this way. Heres the computer models showing the track of what will be the remnants of it. Were not going to get hit by a Tropical Storm itself by the 40 mile an hour winds, but its going to carry the moisture with it. By friday with the center of the remnant low, we can still be getting rain a at that time. Because the winds in the upper atmosphere are incredibly strong. Its going to push it right on top of us. Its a matter of the timing. Thats another thing thats going to move through very quickly. And thats good because the faster it moves through, the less likely were going to have for flooding. And theres some reasonably heavy rain. But its nothing like what happened at this other area moves through. You see it moving rapidly toward the shore right now. This other area moving in fast.
