A 13yearold boy is recovering tonight, the victim of a road rage shooting in hunting park. Police say it all started when a car headed southbound on darion street near bristol. Almost hit a person. The people inside the car got into a shouting match with the people on the street before driving off. But police say the car returned, and a man jumped out and fired eight shots before the car drove off. The boy was hit in the leg, and arm, but he is expected to be okay. Back here at home, three American Flags stolen in North Wildwood over the july 4th weekend. One of those flags dates back to the vietnam war, and is truly irreplaceable. Tom corcoran said his heart sank when he found out someone stole a military issued American Flag just like this in memory of his brother. Its really the only thing that we have left since his body was never recovered. Reporter the family received the flag after navy seaman Patrick Corcoran was killed in the vietnam war in 1969. For the last decade, its flown once a year next door to their summer home on a sturdy flagpole outside a knneighbors house. This is a smaller one. But on july 4th morning, that neighbor, tom shaffer, himself an army veteran, discovered those irreplaceable stars and stripes were gone. My wife cried her eyes out, when we had to tell them.
