You can see firefighters trying to resuscitate one of the dogs. That dog died. Neighbors tell us the owner climbed out of a second floor window with one dog and went back to rescue a second dog. The man is being treated for burns. Everyone made it out of this Montgomery County home safely after a fire broke out after midnight. Investigators have not determined a cause of that fire. And fire crews in camden quickly contained a fire that spread to a neighboring row home. Firefighters arrived to heavy fire and spoke just after 11 30 at a home on sheridan street. Investigators are looking into a cause there. And in philadelphia, a firefighter and two Police Officers are in stable condition this morning. That i inhaled too much smoke while saving a man from a burning home. This was the scene from skyforce 10 around 8 00 on Taylor Street in north philadelphia. Police officers got there first. Two officers went into a home the rescue the man but they were overcome by the smoke. Firefighters went in. Their chief described a tense moment. Communication could not be established with one of our crews on the inside. Our Rapid Intervention team was placed in service. Everybody was removed from the building. Firefighters got out safe. The man rescued by firefighters was taken to the hospital. No word on his condition or what caused the fire. New video shows Armed Robbers attacking a cashier in Philadelphias Kingsessing session. Police say four men went into the diaz Grocery Store on south 54th street earlier this month. One robber it this cashier in the face with a gun and took money from the register. Charles Street Elementary School in pal pmyra has had three lockdowns in just the past month. Nbc 10 was at the school last night where dozens of parents attended an advisory meeting. The schools superintendent didnt give specifics about the threats but did say they were written in the restrooms. Parents we spoke with said the school is taking the matter very seriously. I think most of the concerns that the parents have is the fact that whether or not what are is being told if. This is what happened, this is where the kids are, this is the procedure that we did so the school is very good with that. Officials say theyre investigating leads to find out who made those threats. Happening now, the city of philadelphia is taking steps in the battle against bedbugs. The bedbug task force is meeting at the Philadelphia Convention center. The goal is to learn how other towns fight bedbugs and to get educated about state laws and regulations when it comes to the pests. The meeting is open to the public. The task force was formed in february to curb the rise of bedbug infestations in the city and surrounding area. Officials say randolph holder was pronounced dead at harlem hospital shortly after he arrived in critical condition. Reporter the shooting in new york citys east harlem neighborhood occurred as holder and his partners were responding to a call of shots fired. Holder, a fiveyear veteran, an another officer, confronted an armed man and in an exchange of gunfire holder was shot in his head.
