We have a high wind warning that has been issued, and thats to be expected with hour by hour wind gusts showing us gusts topping out between 55 Miles Per Hour. I think this is a little conservative. When you winterize your car, theres a couple simple things to do. Mb one, fill up the gas tk to prevent freezing. You temergency flies should bee car, flashlights, they need a blanket in their car, they need some things that they can hold overwarm. If they have a glass breaker, thats really important to have. Fresh bottle of water. People get stranded, run or slide road, you get stranded, rely whats in the car. And some granola bars. Very good. What are things people should do to stay safe in the at home. Absolutely stay at home. If your power goes out, do not try to heat your home with generators, or ifectricity goes out using an oven to heat your home, dont do these things. Best way to stay warm is lots o blanke blankets. This is important to have a shelter in place kit in the house. It, too, would have water, foo butter. Itll have flashlights in it, coloring books, puzzles for the kids to keep them from being re for three days.
