Switching gears now the widow of a corrections officer killed during a delaware prison uprising is refusing to meet with Governor Carney. Sandra floyd is urging congress to respond to her demands for an autopsy report. Authorities say prisoners killed lieutenant floyd in the hostage situation last month. Mrs. Floyd referred to another incident at the prison in 2004 when an inmate took a woman hostage and sexually assaulted her. The governor ignored safety regulations after that attack. The statement reads, my husband died because of various failures to follow the key and essential recommendations of the report which resulted in Correctional Officers being thrown into the snake pit which is the vaughn prison. A spokesperson for the governor told us because of a potential lawsuit against the state the governor cant comment on mrs. Floyds letter.
