The judge told the jury to continue deliberating. That continued until 9 00 last night when the judge sent them to their battle. Cosbys spokesperson said that the defense wants the judge to declare a mistrial and send the jury home. We think the emotional toll going on with the jurors and physical toll on them to be in a room deliberating, debating, and you know and they didnt come up with nothing, and they were deadlocked over three days. I dont know what a extra day, why that would happen. A lot of people have been waiting a long time for this process to help. The process itself needs to be respected. At this hour, you have two families who are living this fear. The mayor of Atlantic City tells us the currents were so strong last night at the time that the two went missing. Family members stood on the beach distraught. Some unable to stand as coast guard and beach patrols searched the water and from a helicopter above. The teenagers were last seen in the water off of Martin Luther king beach. It was around 6 30 last night. And within minutes of them being reported, rescuers were in the water. Those rescuers never caught sight of them. The search lasted until 10 30 last night after hours of looking with no sign of the pair. Things did shift to a recovery effort which is set to resume this morning. Now coming up in the next half hour, youll hear from people who were on the beach when the two teenagers went missing.
