Were going to see temperatures that are feeling like they are zero or below for friday morning. That will be the worst stuff. You really feel it starting on thursday. So enjoy this while its around. Not really beautiful, but it is what weve got. Theres a live view from center city from philadelphia, a dry view this morning, mostly in the clear. No sign of any wet weather, not this morning. The temperatures, 30s to start with. Its above freezing in philadelphia and it will stay above freezing during the day today and this evening as well. Radar and satellite show some clouds moving into the area, but those clouds are coming in advance of some wet weather. Not much to these showers, but theres a possibility well see some snow showers, light snow showers in the suburbs this evening and some rain showers at the shore this evening, not during the day today. Friday wont be as windy, but you can see the cold stays with us into saturday morning. Unfortunately, thats when weve got some wet weather moving in. 20 degrees, thats cold enough for some snow, and i expect it starts as snow but changes to rain as the temperatures climb. The system will bring a good deal of warm air with it, then well get rain saturday into saturday night into sunday, possibly a little bit of snow as that system exits out of here. You can see the cold air that lives by monday morning, but mainly rain on sunday. Then dry for tuesday, wednesday and thursday, though clouds will be coming back in on thursday as temperatures back up next week into the 40s. All right, bill, thank you. Ten minutes before 6 00. Lets get to work, especially if you take the schuylkill expressway. Theyve got construction crews working on sign yaage on montgomery, jessica . Yes, so they were starting to clear the westbound side and blocked all traffic. You can see the traffic going by slowly and only two lanes are open on the westbound side. The major project is on the eastbound side, so thats traffic moving towards center city. So we dont want to see any restrictions on any of the lanes moving into center city at any time for the morning commute, but unly, thats what were dealing with right now. One lane only getting by on the eastbound side right now, so you want to take kelly drive, mlk drive, anything to avoid the schuylkill expressway at this time. As they begin to clear this up, well be the first to tell you moving over to new jersey, westville, right over that line. Route 47 northbound around route 130. All lanes are closed
