Investigators say they may have been beaten to death. Right now police do not have any suspects. More breaking news from over night, this time in the neighborhood of philadelphia. There were shots as police were breaking up a party. Police tell us up until then the gathering had been peaceful. One of the victims was hit multiple times, andats last check he was in critical condition. Investigators tell us they spent 31 spent shell casings at the scene. Today the 20yearold suspect in the deadly car attack at the White Nationalist rally in charlottesville is scheduled for his first Court Appearance. Meanwhile, the fal out continues. Hes accused of ramming his car into a crowd protesting against the White Nationalists. Killed one woman and injuring nearly two dozen other people. The white house issued a statement saying the president condemns all forms of violence and white supremacy. Heather heyers was the young woman killed by yesterdays protest, struck down in the crowd. Her mother says she is still struggling to understand exactly what happened. Shes not ang re, but she does hope her loss serves a greater purpose. I cant be angry because angry will make he hate and hate only leads to more hate. And theres no point to that. Heyer worked as a paralegal in charlottesville. Standing with charlottesville from philadelphia to delaware to the lee high valley, people all across our krair are coming together to hold ral ezin support of the city in chaos. There was a gathering in doylestown where just last february kkk fliers were found. Residents didnt stand for that, and they say they wont stand for this either. And in philly hundreds of people attended a vigil for all of those who stood up against hate in charlottesville. The images are shocking as youve seen. A 32yearold woman was killed when that ohio man drove a car into counterprotesters who were there demonstrating against a White Nationalist rally. 19 others were injured. People in our area say they were heartbroken over this. And together they want to help send that message that hate has no part in this society. Society as a fabric is being pulled apart thread by thread and the whole society is becoming unraveled. We are brothers and sisters here. The founder of the largest africanamerican street fair in the country has died. Lois fernandez founded the odunde festival here in philadelphia. She was considered a treasure of the city. According to inquirer she founded the festival in 1975 with nothing but a 100 grant. Over the decades the grant and had the event has grown. The festival now attracts up to 500,000 people annually. Fernandez was 81 years old. Around 6 00 sunday Morning Police in jersey were called to a home in hamilton. Police took one person into custody in connection with her deaths. And in Philadelphia Police are still searching for two men who shot a woman through her window. When she looked through the window to find out what was going on, she saw the two men. They shot at her three timess. The woman went to hospital and is expected to be okay. A shootout at a bar over the weekend sent four people to the ppt hospital. Three men and one woman were hit when gunfire erimented. The Delaware CountyDistrict Attorneys Office is now investigating because Chester Police officers fired their weapons during the incident.
