Now, officials have not yet identified the victims but what they are telling us is that the bodies of a woman an a man were pulled out of that home. Firefighters got the call just before midnight when they arrived, they found flames in the house. Firefighters entered the home, recovered the two victims, pulled them out on the front lawn and immediately began cpr, but it was too late. It took crews about 35 minutes to get the fire out and at some point, there was an emergency evacuation ordered because of a gas odor. The gas company responded and a minor gas leak was discovered and capped. Fire Officials Say its far too soon to determine what connection, if any, that gas leak had to the fire. Theyre still working to determine the cause. Meanwhile, neighbors are shocked and saddened that the couple did not survive. I seen the flames higher than the trees. I ran out. My neighbor was screaming. c running up to the door, banging on the door. They just ran around the corner, heard a lot of screaming and everything. Just trying to get to them and unsuccessful.
