They deliberated for about four hours last night without reaching a verdict. It came after the defense wrapped up its case in minutes. Reporter the jury wanted to get more context about a comment that bill cosby had made in testimony a decade ago. A comment about pills in which he referred to pills as his friends. Last night he left the montgomery count upbeat. [ inaudible ] reporter he left with a smile on his face. The jury of seven men and five women discussed the case until a little before 10 00, discussing the charges of aggravated indecent Sexual Assault. The day started with the defense making its case in six minutes, calling one witness to the stand. Prosecutors on the order hand took a week on the other hand took a week to lay out their case for the comedian. As for the closing arguments, a little about them now. District attorney kevin steele hammered home that andrea constand, cosbys accuser, was a victim of cosby. While cosbys lawyers focused on constands state as inconsisten unreliable.
