Reporter well, were on frankford avenue right now between tompson and shack mackson street. Also a couple of homes in this area with flood damage in the basement because of this water main break that happened overnight a little before 1 00 this morning. Philadelphia Water Department says this is an eight inch main that broke. Not one of the wbiggest mains i the city, but big enough to cause problems when they break. About a dozen Properties Around here dont have water service. The bigger impact to the area is going to be closures. Road closures. Water department is coming back here later this morning to begin the repairs. Take another live look here. You can see the impact of the closures to this area. Frankford avenue closed from girard to tompson. Shack mackson street is closed. This is a few block radius in this general area shutdown because of all this right now. The route five buses detoured because of this. The Water Department says these repairs could continue through most of the day. Good idea to plan ahead. For now live in fishtown. Family member says he was trying to break up a fight between his girlfriend and another woman when he was killed. The deadly shooting happened saturday near the thomas street. Police found him shot nine times. I wish it was me. I rather would have took to feel the pain that i feel. Miguel was charged with first and third degree murder. Authorities said his sister was the other woman involved in that fight. The nbc 10 respond team is getting help for drivers shrined after they say their cars were filled with dcontaminated gas. The gas station is now shutdown. Contaminated 87 octane with diesel fuel. The faulty gas caused 1200 in damage to her car. After our car, sunoco corporate told her they would pay for repairs and get her a rental car. Sunoco plans to help other affected drivers. In philadelphia, a hospital and doctor face a lawsuit. A patient claims she was sexually assaulted equity under hypnosis. Suit was filed. According to court documents, the patient claims the doctor hip know tidesed her without consent then allegedly made improper sexual contact with her. A man convicted of shooting a Philadelphia Police officer will spend 3570 years in prison. Judge sentenced william yesterday. Shot an officer back in april of 2015.
