But the reason for it, the city says vehicles have to be gone so the secure perimeter and fencing can be set up. The mayor talked all about this last week. So what can you do if you are parked in one of these areas, you are a resident, you need one of these spaces. You can park in a space in one of six Parking Authority garages for the the papal weekend. Then you get a placard that will allow you to continue parking where you normally do, until next thursday. New video this morning from family members of a philadelphia man who was shot and killed during a robbery attempt nearly seven years ago. This is the billboard made for matthew novak. Back in 2008 he was shot after the annual puerto rican day parade, novak later died during surgery. Surveillance video shows novak flagging down a black chevy impala at sixth and green street in fair mount. Were trying to get help he was trying to get help for a friend having car problems that day. Investigators say novak told his friends he was going to get jumper cables but he never returned. The people in the car took novak to 13th and fairmount where he was shot in the hip. Were trying to find the people in that impala. Were not sure if they were the owners, lent the car or borrowed the car from somebody else or stole it. There is a 42,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the owner or occupants of the chevy blue impala with new jersey tags. Michael mimms escaped from the Burlington County jail on saturday morning, last night he was back in police custody. Mimms was first arrested on a weapons charge, police have not said what additional charges he may now face. Is students at Pottsgrove High School have an extended vai kaxths its back to school. The boat can be seen running aground shortly after the rescue. The kentucky clerk jailed for refusing to issue marriage licenses to gay couples is going back to work today. You are a strong people. That was kim davis last week after she was released from jail. Thanking supporters. A federal judge said davis may not interfere in any way with her coworkers who issue marriage licenses. Davis had stopped issuing all marriage licenses rather than issue any to samesex couples citing religious beliefs. She has not said if she will issue licenses today. That hope has been reignited with the opening of their newest location in rhawnhurst. Its the first Early Childhood Education Center in philadelphia built by funds from the William Penn Foundation and the Public Health management corporation, a Nonprofit Team looking to open more Quality Centers like this. This neighborhood was chosen because it did not have a high Quality Center for kids. Inside this Kinder Academy there are insulated floors to help keep kids warm, sinks and bathrooms in the classroom not just the hall ways and all l. E. D.
