Mercy hospital called police after a car dropped off a wounded man there. The vick was shot in the head, chest and arm. He was transferred to Presbyterian Hospital where hes in Critical Condition. The Police Chased the shooting to south cecil street. Investigators are not sure if the shooting happened inside or outside that home. Meantime, a teen is fighting for his life after being shot in the back last night. Overnight we asked police for an update. Theyre telling us theyre looking for Surveillance Video. They do know he was shot with a semiautomatic gun. Monique braxton is live in West Philadelphia with more. What have we been able to find out, monique . Detectives tell us they do know multiple shots were fired but arent clear if the teen was the intended target. A manhunt is under way for the gunman at this hour. Weve also learned the teen is in extremely Critical Condition after having had surgery. Witnesses near 60th and vine called police after hearing gunshots just before 9 30 last night. Investigators say when police arrived, a 14yearold male was found shot once in the upper back. Hes unconscious at the time. The officers were trying to ask what happened when they threw him in the back of the patrol car and rushed him to presbyterian where hes being treated now. Police believe a semiautomatic weapon was used but it has not been found. Only casings were found at the scene. Investigators tell us theyre looking for surveillance cameras in the area. Theyre hoping videotape captured the shooting. Well be checking with detectives throughout the morning and have the very latest for you as we find it. A mother has apologized for this viral video that shows Young Children cursing, hitting and spitting on a septa l train. We blurred the childrens faces on this cell phone video because no crime was committed. We also altered the audio because of the swearing. A rider recorded the video on the l before the kids exited at the new york dauphin station in philadelphia. People who saw the recording and recognized the children alerted the mother that her two sons were among the five kids in the video. They sent me the video. I was like, my kids. When i seen that it was shocking. I was ashamed a little bit. The parents told nbc 10 the man who shot the video instigated the incident with the kids. Septa police say they contacted the parents and offered them social services. People commenting on this story on our nbc 10 Facebook Page. He boarded a plane in alexandria, threatened to blow it up and forced it to land in cyprus. Authorities say this video shows the hijacker passing through Airport Security yesterday morning. A 92yearold woman is recovering from an attack in her home. The elderly woman was found bound and beaten in the basement of her Ewing Township home around 10 00 yesterday morning. Police think two masked men ransacked the home on manor drive for items to steal before assaulting the victim and tieing her up. She was found when a friend came to check on her. Its really sad.
