Nbc 10 carried the event live from the starting line in logan to the finish line in south philadelphia and all ten miles in between. 40,000 workers tackled the largest tenmile street run in the country, some of them for the first time. Nbc 10 followed the runners on the ground, in the air and even aboard a motorcycle. Philadelphias home to a lot of events like the blue cross broad street run, the popes visit last year and this summer well host the Democratic National convention. City leaders will be using these events to ghaith how its impacting the economy. Nbc 10s Pamela Osborne is live at Independence Hall where hundreds in the Hospitality Industry will meet with city leaders. Set the scene for us, pam. Noontime, a few scattered light showers in the allentown area, into bucks county and further to the northeast. As we go into the Late Afternoon hours, there may be breaks of sunshine that will allow for those temperatures to warm up. Heres the chance of thunderstorm activity.
