Some of us are right around freezing with the temperature expected to pick up which is why some of us are more likely to see rain and rain snow mix. Well talk more about where and who sees what coming up. This morning Philadelphia Police are looking for the gunman who shot two men sitting inside this tow truck. Last night the shooters walked up to the, opened the passenger door, fired the shots, then took off. The victims are listed in very critical condition. At the jersey shore the coast guard has suspended its search for a missing boater. Family members say chris hugg called family members when his boat ran aground and said he didnt need help. Crews found his boat in Little Egg Harbor but no sign of him. Weve been boating all our lives. Hard to believe. Hard to believe. Veteran boaters fear the missing man got into some trouble trying get his boat back in the chilly water. Well keep you posted. Inauguration ration day is next week on friday and the preparations are well under way. The moisture will not move in until afternoon. Its passing down to the south us. Some strength to us down the south of us barely passing over the delaware bothered. This morning were cloudy but dry. Not tracking the snow. Then we go to 2 00, 3 00 in the afternoon, like snow should make it to the ground and start north and west. Chester county, berks county and extending across the entire region. As we go through midday into early evening. By early evening 6 00 to 10 00 icy spots on roads are possible. Temperatures last couple of days have been warmer than average which naens ground is warmer than average and above freezing. Harder for icy spots to form. Still a possibility especially as we go in the evening hours and temperatures start to fall that we may see some slick spots. Thats when its not as great of an idea be out on the road. If you can get things done in the first half of the day thats best. 10 00, 11 00, lingering snow, fairly light, that will start to move out totally offshore by 11 00 or so. This is just going to be throughout your time hours well see this which is good news. Thats when temperatures are higher, accumulation potential is much lower. Senator pat toomey is reigniting his fight against sanctuary isis like philadelphia. The republican senator from pennsylvania reintroduced his stop dangerous sanctuary cities act. In an oped he wrote some argue that cracking down on sanctuary cities will make us less safe by discouraging crime witnesses and victims from coming forward. My legislation will create a special exemption that will allow a jurisdiction to refuse to cooperate. His fight to cut funding for sanctuary cities has led to protests. It protects undocumented immigrants by limiting cooperation with federal Law Enforcement officials especially if they potentially commit a nonviolent crime. Philadelphia mayor once again stressed the importance of keeping philadelphia a sanctuary city. He said taking that away will make philadelphia less safe. Believes thfbeliefs we hold, protect ourselves. I wont turn my back on people who decided they want to live in philadelphia. President elect trump has said he would pull all federal funding from sanctuary cities. The mayor said hes waiting to see if mr. Trump stands by that promise.
