The other half seeing rain. From philadelphia north is where we have fog concerns. Philadelphia still reporting. 25 mile visibility. I saw it this morning driving into work, not good at all. Trenton. 25 mile, pottstown a little better at 1. 75 mile. You can see down allentown and redding through lancaster as well. So these are our fog shois zone. Rain is passing through parts of delaware as well as the jersey shore. That will corporate for a couple more hours before this starts to thin out. In fact, we pull this out a little bit, you can see the end is near. But this is just the beginning. This isnt even part of our first alert. Our first alert is for our entire viewing area due to a nors center that will develop as we move through tomorrow. From sunday night through Tuesday Morning our first alert is in effect. That means your morning commute could be a rough one with rain heavy at times by tomorrow afternoon. Damaging winds developing by tomorrow morning. All of that could lead to minor coastal flooding. Its a bridge used every day by more than 40,000 drivers. Now the bridge linking the pennsylvania and jersey turnpikes will be closed for weeks for critical repairs. Get used to seeing these roadblocks. We are right under the turnpike bridge. You can see the cranes and the work going on through out the night, even in the fog. The big issue, its anyones guess as to how long its going to take to fix. Engineers and construction workers have been trying to temporarily stabilize this bridge. Friday afternoon a worker discovered a track on a steel truss on the pennsylvania side of the bridge. Traffic was shut down and the work happening now is that they are installing towers that will support the weight of the bridge. Drivers we spoke with are already getting nervous. Add an hour onto my work every day, my guys, my trucks, everything. Reporter here are the alternates so you can plan ahead of time. Coming from pennsylvania into new jersey, you need to exit at bensalem, then follow route 1 to i95, then 295 to 195 and from there get yourself onto the new jersey turnpike. If youre coming from new jersey, alternates include i78, 295 and the burlington bristol bridge. We have alternate routes on nbc10. Com and the nbc 10 app. Its a big deal considering roughly 42,000 vehicles pass over this bridge every day. Its important to get those plans in place. Philadelphia police are looking for the man who attacked a transgender woman in center city. The victim was attending the lgbt conference. Rihanna quigley streamed the video of her assault on facebook live. It shows the man punching her while shouting homo phobe lick slurs. After he punched me, it hit me. I blacked out emotionally. I was in shock, it happened so quickly. Statistics show transgender women, especially those of color are much more likely to be victims of violence. Police are also searching for a man who they say killed his own grandmother. The 70yearold woman was stabbed a number of times inside a home in southwest philadelphia last night. Police are searching for her grandson. Sources close to the investigation say he previously assaulted his other grandmother. A Chestnut Hill neighborhood is on edge today after a sex assault took place inside a home there. Philadelphia police say a man broke into the home and sexually assaulted a woman in front of her husband. It happened early yesterday morning. The crime has shocked people who know the neighborhood for being a friendly place to live. I think its a remarkably friendly place. Im sorry to hear that Something Like that happened. Investigators say the gunman stole a couple of wallets and a cell phone after that assault. 20,000 people were expected. In new jersey thousands of people rallied at the war memorial in trenton. Estimates put the crowd at around 6,000 there. Speakers at the event says longterm change will come if more women ran for office or supported other women who do. At the womens march on washington more than a half Million People turned out.
