Good morning. I am rosemary connors. Its 7 00 on this sunday. This is nbc10 news today. Lets get to the forecast now with meteorologist, michelle grossman. Its a cold one. You need the layers as you wake up this morning for sure. We are a lot colder compared to this time yesterday and i felt like yesterday we woke up cold. Waking up to clear skies, and thats the difference. Bright sunshine throughout our sunday. Were going to warm up nicely this afternoon, rebound above normal. Still chilly with temperatures in the upper 50s. Right now 18 degrees colder compared to this time yesterday in millville, and 12 degrees colder in pottstown, and that is mainly putting us in the 30s, some spots, though, in the 20s. Just above freezing in mt. Pocono, and allentown at the freezing mark. 39 in philadelphia, and 35 in wilmington. South and east, temperatures mainly in the 20s and 30s. Just 28 degrees in millville. 36 this morning in Atlantic City, and you are waking up to 34 in dover. Lots of sunshine and chilly. By this afternoon, breezy conditions. By 8 00, lots of sunshine and 41. By lunchtime, 54. Thats when we are going to feel the wind picking up to breezy, not windy like yesterday, today more closer to 10 to 15 Miles Per Hour. Today, its a chilly one but not bad at all. We will top out around 59. As we head towards the rest of the workweek, we are looking at temperatures moderating into the mid60s and tracking the chance for showers, so looking at your 7day coming up in a few minutes. This morning we are learning new information about the terror in paris, and investigators have found a car with suspected links to the attacks in a suburb east of paris. The gunman used the same type of car in one of the attacks. Take a look at the car possibly involved. Officials think it was linked to the deadly gun attacks on the two restaurants in paris. Prosecutors say according to witnesses the gunman pulled up in this kind of car before opening fire, killing 15 people and injuring ten others. The country is struggling to absorb and process the coordinated attacks that left 129 people dead and more than 350 hurt. President Francois Hollande has raised the security to its highest level and special services are planned at notre dame theater this weekend. One american was killed, a junior at cal state long beach was studying in paris, and Nick Alexander was working at the pwaudic lawn. As the victims are slowly being identified, those still searching for loved ones are turning to social media. A french prosecutor confirmed that all seven attackers died and they were wearing suicide vests. French officials identified one of the attackers as ishmael, and his family is being questioned. A syrian passport for abdul akbaq was found near one of the terrorists. It could take weeks before all of the terrorists could be traced. Nbc10 anchor, jim rosenfield, has been there and talking to people from our area that witnessed the attacks and acted quickly to stay out of harms way. Im still, like, in shock that it even happened so close and we were here, and your heart just goes out to everybody that was affected and people that lost family members, and thank god he spared our lives last night. Reporter jessica ross just embarked on a new life in paris from her home in philly a few months ago and friends from the states came to visit and the city of lights descended into the darkness of terror as they dined in a restaurant blocks from the carnage. It could have been us. We were right there. Reporter motivated by a flury of texts and tweets about the attacks the women took it upon themselves to hide for hours in the basement of the restaurant. We figured if we were in the basement, we saw another exit so if anybody came in we would at least be one step below and could make a run. Reporter now 24 hours later, time to process what happened in paris. I think also because we are coming from new jersey, like, we had 9 11, and that was very scary and very close. But we knew where everything was. Where we were, everybody was acting calm and they were like, its not that close, but you dont know, youre in paris. When i woke up this morning i looked to the sky and thanked god, and i yelled to her, joe, i thank god for you today and i text messaged them saying god brought us to see another day and we can process everything that has taken place. In the wake of everything that has happened in paris, the nfl is not taking any chances, the nfl is increasing security at all of its games on this sunday. Reporter the nfl wants to know if you are coming to the game and plan to bring something you have it in a plastic bag like this one so security guards can see what is inside your bag, and it will expedite your entrance. This morning theres a growing memorial by the french flag on the ben franklin parkway. We spoke to one woman on the parkway who is visiting philadelphia this weekend who has close family members living in paris. I was truly shocked to learn that that would happen to innocent people in a wonderful city that has great camaraderie and compassion for other cities. She said her family is safe and all accounted for. When you look at paris, you know the toughest gun laws in the world, paris, nobody had guns but the bad guys, nobody. Donald trump says the terror in paris would have been much different if more citizens were allowed to carry guns in that city at a Campaign Event yesterday, and trump also said these attacks demonstrate why america should not take in refugees from syria. We need to have a resolve that will bring the world together to root out the kind of radical jihadists ideologies that motivates organizations by like isis, the barbaric, ruthless jihadists terrorists groups.
