Take a look as theyre getting ready here. The marathon into its second hour. We can tell you that the first wheelchair athlete crossed the finish line in less than two hours. Despite this chilly start to the day. And it was a little colder than yesterday. Yesterday the Half Marathon people had 60plus degree weather to run in. Today it was a little chilly as they took to the starting line at around 7 00 this morning with the 20,000 runners taking part in this twoday event. And some of them say they trained all year for it so it doesnt matter what the weather is today, they were showing up. We have talked to runners from virginia, rhode island, even tucson, arizona. That are happy to run here in philadelphia, no matter the weather. It was a little chilly. The wind, but well be all right. Were hoping to huddle in the pack and try to draft a little bit. Now again weve got an update just a little while ago saying that the runners were around the 22 to 23 mile mark. So they should be crossing the finish line, that first group of elite runners here just in the next couple of minutes and well be sure to get that for you and show you that video as soon as it happens. New this morning a philadelphia charity is contributing 100 million to help renovate the citys parks, libraries, recreation centers, and play grounds. The William Penn Foundation has committed the money to the rebuilding Community Infrastructure initiative in philadelphia. The foundation says it hopes the renovation will help bring communities together through creative use of public space. In Donald Trumps transition to president governor Chris Christie will meet with mr. Trump today at trumps golf course in north jersey. The president elect will also meet with former new york mayor rudy giuliani. Mr. Trump is hosting potential cabinet contenders this weekend. This morning were getting a closer look at the details in the case against an accused repeat Cyber Stalker in bucks county. Shane holderer was on vacation for a 2013 guilty plea for stalking and harassing a teenage girl. Bucks county prosecutors say the 55yearold buckingham township man used multiple accounts to post thousands of messages. Some were sexual in nature. The messages mentioned the desire to be with a teenage girl and included personal details. Police took control of the teens account and set up what holderer thought would be a meeting at a coffee shop. Instead an officer showed up and arrested him. He pleaded guilty in 2013 to similar charges. Now to an update to a story we first told you about on friday night. The mother of an 8yearold girl killed in a hit and run is making a tearful plea for justice. She was only 8. You hit her and she flew from the corner to the middle of the block. And you kept going. This is a look at Camelback Mountain around the poconos where snow is coming down right now and you can see they already got the nice coating, a couple of inches in the poconos from last night when the system first moved through. Some very light spots of snow, may clip our zone and as it passes through philadelphia turn into rain. Sabra dipping company is voluntarily recalling some hummus products and spreads because of possible listeria contamination. The products were made before november 8th at a plant where inspectors found the bacteria. If you have a product with a best before date through january 23rd of 2017, theyre advising you to get rid of it. Listeria can cause serious and sometimes deadly infections in young children, frail or the elderly. And others with weakened immune systems. Americas top dog will be name today as the National Dog Show wraps up in montgomery county. Nbc 10 was at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in oaks yesterday for the first day of judging. A lot of the values were seeing although some a little lower. 33 for walnut, and merts town at 36. Those are your actual temperatures. Remember a lot of us are feeling five to ten degrees cooler than it truly is because of the winds. The winds are lower than theyll be later today.
