In the state of Washington Police arresting a 20yearold man accused of shooting five people to death at a mall there this weekend. What is the latest . Reporter for the first time we are hearing how investigators spotted this suspected gunman walking down the street in a town almost 30 miles away. Investigators say once they put the surveillance camera pictures from inside of the mall out they started receiving tips from the public identifying the suspect as arcan cetin. They went to check out and they saw him walking down the street. The investigators we talked to described him as quiet and almost zombie like. I saw an individual walking northbound on the sidewalk and i instantly recognized that is the person i just viewed on my computer. I did an abrupt u turn and hit my lights and deputy took the individual into custody. Reporter cetin is 20 years old. He is a u. S. Legal resident in the u. S. Sources have told our affiliate that his ex girlfriend may have worked at the macys some time ago. When asked about that investigators say it is still too early to talk about the motive. They did say this did not appear to be terrorism related. We are learning more about cetin through social media postings. He posted videos of him playing call of duty. He is facing five counts of murder as this community struggles with its grief. Starting us off in the state of washington. After a public outcry police in charlotte, North Carolina finally released portions of the body camvideo of keith scott. Security is tight for the Carolina Panthers game later today. Reporter today the Carolina Panthers are set to play a home game here amid heightened security after several nights of protests. Police released portion of the videos relating to the shooting death of keith scott. We should warn you they are graphic and some viewers may find them disturbing. A uniformed officer arrives as backup. Guns drawn at keith scott inside the white suv. Scott walks backwards, four shots ring out. Body camera footage shows the uniformed officer trying to use the baton to break the window. Seconds later body is on the ground. Police say two plain closed officers were there to serve an arrest warrant to another man. Officers say scott parked next to him and held up a gun. The image does not create absolute certainty as to what this case represents and what the outcome can be. The footage supports all of the other information. Reporter police say scotts dna and finger prints are on the loaded gun at the scene and was wearing this ankle holster. The new videos distributed one day after scotts wife released this dramatic cell phone video. He has no weapon. Reporter none of the recordings show scott pointing a weapon at officers. He is not aggressively moving towards law enforcement. He is doing the opposite. He is passively stepping back. Reporter this wasnt the first time 43yearold had a run in with the law involving a gun. His familys lawyers say scotts delaying getting out of his vehicle doesnt justify his death. Dont shoot him. Reporter his brother in law says the videos leave more questions than answers. We shouldnt have to in order for him to be treated fairly. He was an american citizen who deserved that. Reporter overnight there were peaceful protests here.
