Floors filled with smoke and two firefighters are hurt trying to get this giant fire under control. Cbs2s valerie is following the story in passaic. Valerie. Reporter right now, this fire continues to burn at the corner of broadway and gregory. Thats right behind me. You can seelet largescale response that is still here on the scene, the ladder trucks continue to put water on what is now a very big fire. Just how high the flames rose above the top of the building shooting from the roof and smoke poured out of the roof in a huge column. This fire started around 8 45 and within two hours grew a considerable amount. Dozens of residents are displaced. We spoke to one resident who managed to get out of the building.
