Reporter people in the neighborhood are outraged that would someone would steal a disabled childs wheelchair. Either the person was on drugs or that person was a real lowlife. I mean, i just cant imagine anybody doing that to an innocent kid like that. Reporter through social media the company that makes the wheelchair conveyed found out about him. A spokesman tells cbs 2 news they are in the process of outfitting a new chair for him for free. Thats no small contribution these chairs cost between 2,500 and 4,000. Andrews mother says she is thrilled about the donation but she still wants her sons chair back. If by chance it does get returned, i definitely want to just pay it forward, give it to someone else if they need it, donate it. Reporter andrews new wheelchair should arrive next week. People warn against contributing to any funds on their behalf. This afternoon thick, black smoke billowed from a fire on the new jersey turnpike. Investigators say a garbage truck caught fire just after 2 30. It happened on the northbound western spur near exit 15e.
