Police and animal control spent several hours here. 132 hillcrest has been on their radar for some time. Lots of complaints from neighbors about the terrible smell, the noise of the animals barking, and, of course, neighbors concerned that it the animals were being mistreated. The dogs all appear to be labs and labrador mixes. Many have cuts and scrapes from living right on top of each other. Pretty horrendous. Its uninhabitable b humans. The owner left three days ago and in the last three days neighbors saw him about 6 a. M. But the house is deplorable. Reporter in addition to it the 50 dogs, there were 5 cats rescued. Some of those cats pretty spooked. They had to be plucked off the roof of the home. All of the animals will be checked by veterinarians and then taken to no kill shelters and put up for adoption. They are already getting phone calls from people who want to adopt one of those 17 cute puppies. The owner of the home will face numerous misdemeanor charges.
