They say he had an affair with a woman who lobbied him on a regular basis on behalf of clients who had business before the state. And an affair with a second woman, who got a state job after silver contacted an agency over which he exercised a particularly high level of control. I think the whole district feels very betrayed. Another fire in jersey city severely damaged five homes and left several people with nowhere to live. Firefighters were called out to forest street twice.
