Last thursday night, the man followed a woman from broad avenue to 2nd street. The man pushing her down from behind assaulting her and ran off. Sunday night, a second woman reported to police that she was victim to a similar attack just a few blocks away from the first one on september 8. Neither one was seriously hurt. The rights of people to enjoy the ambience, the character of the neighborhood that they moved into. Reporter their lawyer says his plaintiffs are in an awkward position. Many of them attend the synagogue but they fear the tiny street with no outlet will be clogged with cars for classes, parties, services. Already they have purchased the properties on both sides to tear one down and make a parking lot. Getting more congested but in a religious right i think that it should be okay. Reporter we tried to speak to the rabbi. He said the case is too touchy. The street calls it a private matter and the mayor says the village zoning board is being sued and cant comment on pending litigation. The one year trial run is now under way until or unless neighbor litigants can prove the village didnt follow the law granting the sevenday unrestricted use of the synagogue. Reporter she won a lawsuit against Dunkin Donuts for 522,000 for injuries suffered outside a chain and Highland Park middlesex county. She was carrying multiple cups of hot coffee as she left the building on raritan avenue and tripped on a spike sticking out of a curb, near her car. Marsala tripped spilling four cups of hot coffee on herself. They took me inside the they called 911. Reporter she suffered severe burns on her face, neck and arms. Since the trip and fall in january of 2012, marsala has had surgery on her rotator cuff and her lower back suffering from numbness down her right side.
