Raid was carried out here about 4 00 local time. Its now six hours later and you can still see the active scene. Police and troops scouring the street, looking for what we believe to be more possible suspects. The french prosecutor saying that one female suicide bomber did detonate her vest. Five people have been take into custody. Three found inside the apartment and two outside on the streets. This hour, their exact identities still unclear but there is reason to believe that the master mind behind this attack was hiding out inside. Gunfire erupted in the paris suburb overnight where police believed the master mind behind last weeks terror attacks was hiding. Panicked residents heard explosions, some were evacuated and others told to stay indoors as heavily armed officers and soldiers moved through the streets. Authorities think master mind Abdelhamid Abaaoud was inside the apartment with several other heavily armed suspects. The tense scene comes as police began searching for a second man who they say slipped away after the carnage. Authorities reportedly spotted him on video in a car with two other attackers who opened fire on customers at a bar. The brother of one of the suspected athe tackers is appealing for him to come forward. My advice to him is to turn himself into the police, he said, so justice can shed light on what happened. Its just over a mile from the soccer stadium targeted by three suicide bombers. And as the investigation this morning continues, so does the tension. Twice already we have seen police and troops break through this barrier to go and search for what we believe to be possible suspects. They have since retreated. We have breaking news of a Fatal Shooting in brooklyn this morning. Police say a man was shot in the back just after 3 00 a. M. They say the man is between 30 and 35 years old. He has not yet been identified. We will continue to follow the story and let you know when theres more information. A bomb threat against an air france jet out of los angeles forced the plane to land in utah. Passengers send out pictures from the tarmac in salt lake city. The bomb threat was phoned in. The 400 passengers were evacuated while the fbi and k9 units checked for explosives. Nothing was found. Against a flight out of washington. And that plane was grounded as well. Governor andrew cuomo says his support for resettling refugees in new york state is the right way to go. Speaking to students at harvard, he responded to those who have urged him to block placement of refugees here. At the same time, this federal government has to make sure its doing the screening and the people who are coming in are safe. The Connecticut Governor said he would welcome vetted refugees. But new Jersey Governor Chris Christie has reversed his position. In september, he said the u. S. Should play a role in resettlement. This week, he wrote president barack obama a letter saying that new jersey would not accept any refugees at all. Happening today, a major announcement from mayor de blasio on the growing problem of the homeless. We will unvail a multi billion Dollar Program. And now according to report, mayor de blasio will make this announcement saying that there will be 15,000 new Housing Units for those in need. Its initiative that could be one of the most impactful in the citys effort to combat homelessness. The wall street journal reporting that mayor de blasio will announce a 3,000,000,000. 15year plan to create 15,000 Housing Units for those in need. The morning the whole area is packed. Its a shame. But you dont the know who to help and who not to help. Reporter as part of the program, those who use the housing in exchange would pay a portion of their income or Financial Support from the government. Theyll force you to give your pets up to get into a shelter. Reporter this 22yearold lives on the streets with her pets. She was among many upset by Police Commissioner brattons urge to the public last week not to give to the homeless. One of the things they can do is stop contributing to it. If anything, theyll just move on to what they called here aggressive panhandling or instead, they would move on to stealing and robbing from people. Reporter now homeless advocates say that the mayors proposal is a good start but they say that they need even more support, double that number of housing. New this morning, a poll shows mayor de blasio is losing support, particularly among white residents in the city. The overall approval is at 44 down from 52 from last december. The poll showed significant concern about homelessness. 62 disapprove of how the mayor is handling the issue. Bullets rang out at a brooklyn subway station during the evening rush hour, leaving two men injured. Police are looking for this man seen on Surveillance Video moments before the shooting. Witnesses say the scene reminded them of the attacks in paris. I heard one shot first. And then i heard like a series of shots. You didnt know who was shooting. Just gunshots and everybody was running. It was like anybodys bullet. Anybody could have got shot. The victims are recovering at the hospital. The search for a man who attacked a store clerk in brooklyn last friday. Surveillance video has just been released. Police say he paid for a pair of earrings but put another pair in the bag without paying. When the clerk confronted him, he was beaten and hit with a bottle. A building inspector is free this morning following his arrest charged with falsely claiming he had inspected a building that was later a scene for tragedy. He signed documents saying he inspected the building on the upper west side. Last may, a piece of that facade fell, striking and killing a 2yearold girl sitting on a bench below. The suspect is described as a male in the late 20s or early 30s, heavy set with a shaved head and black rimmed glasses.
