Poll has trump at 44, ted cruz, 24, rubio, 21, kasich, 9. For the republicans, ohio is another big contest. Ohio Governor John Kasich hoping to win his home state as part of an effort to keep trump from winning enough delegates to prevent a floor fight. There is the theory that every little bit helps and kasich campaigned with mitt romney. I want to be president , but i will not take the low road to the highest office in the land in order to get there. Reporter trump canceled a stop in florida. Instead, he was on kasichs home turf in youngstown, along with new jersey governor Chris Christie. Trump needled kasich for losing new hampshire. Even governor Chris Christie was there. A major water main break has first street still closed in the vicinity of grand street and willow avenue. Be careful there. In jersey city, the covered roadway is closed for roadwork between jersey and tunley avenue. Look out for that. And the bayonne bridge is closed in both directions and thats for roadwork until 5 00 a. M. Stick with the goethals as an alternate until then. Alternate side parking is in effect citywide. New plan to improve safety at city homeless shelters. Security staff will be retrained and a Police Management team will develop security upgrades. They will implement new procedures in reporting claims to take place in shelters. We will have more on the plan in the next half hour. A bizarre mystery continues this morning, concerning a new jersey mother who vanished. She disappeared four months after being shot eight times in her car. Cbs 2s Jessica Snyder spoke to her mother, whos been driven to tears fearing the worst. Reporter the julius family spent six agonizing days wondering where the 41yearold mother of two teens is. She met up with a female friend last tuesday and hasnt been heard from since. I knew something was wrong when she didnt come home. Shes always home. Reporter shes had a traumatic past few months. At the end of november, she was inside this car when police say a man wearing a mask walked up and fired several shots into several times and grazing her teenage daughter. Now, juliuss mother fears this is connected to her disappearance. The shooter hasnt been found. If anybodys holding her, let her come home. She have a family and the kids who want her home. Reporter julius friend tells her family that she went to lunch with julius on tuesday and then dropped her off here station. The only problem is, Lyndon Police say theyve gone through the Surveillance Video and theyve seen no sign of tyrita or her friends. Police tell the julietis family the last ping from her cell phone was near the train station, but the phone is now going straight to voicemail and all credit cards were left at home. Shes a loving person and just blows my mind that this is even happening to her. Three Police Officers are hurt and a suspect is dead after a shootout in chicago. Officials say the officers were investigating drug activity acting suspiciously. Police say the man ran off and began shooting. They say one of the officers fired back and killed him. Custody. The officers are all expected to be okay. And new information on the shooting death of an undercover Maryland Police officer shot and killed outside a Police Station sunday. Authorities say the death was due to friendly fire. The station was the target of a random ambush. The gunman, a 22yearold, was arrested. His two brother were also arrested and charged after being caught making a video recording of the attack. A financial settlement for the family of a student killed by a pleasantville Police Officer. He was shot as he drove away from a disturbance outside a bar in 2010. The officer was hit by the car and wound up on the hood. He fired through the windshield. Henrys family is now accepted a 6 million settlement from the village and officer aaron hess, now retired. The body of harry hernandez, the third victim of saturdays deadly tugboat crash near the Tappan Zee Bridge has been located. Divers say its inside the sunken boat in the hudson river. Were told a commercial maritime Salvage Company will begin trying to raise the boat as early as today. A new jersey family is mourning the death of three family members following a devastating house fire. 10 members of the may family were asleep. A 2yearold and 7yearold died. A 52yearold was also killed. Several relatives were injured. Now, the family says the firefighters were slow to respond. They came late and when they got here, they did not go in. Me and my husband tried to go through the back. There wasnt no firefighters back there. What i know now is that three minutes after receiving the call, the Fire Department was on the scene. Reporter the mayor says he this morning, residents in parts of hoboken are advised to boil their water following yesterdays water main break. On top of the flooded streets, the break also opened up a sinkhole that swallowed up this car. That happened at 1st street near willow and clinton. Some who live in hoboken say water main breaks are constant problems. City leaders say a deal with provider sewage water leaves little money aside for infrastructure upgrades. He was shot by a carjacker in the bronx. He was on the street crimes unit for just three months when he was killed. Kevin absolutely loved his children. They were his pride and joy.
