Police say Clarence Jones went inside this walmart and attempted to steal electronics, but that was just the beginning. Now jones is nowhere to be found and police are not sure if he has a weapon. Take a good look at this man. Police say Clarence Jones is responsible for a Highway Police chase. It all started here at the walmart on red bank road in fairfax just before 5 a. M. A store employee noticed jones had attempted to push a cart full of electronics outside of the store. At the same time a Cincinnati Police sergeant happened to be in walmart grabbing food. 00 21 a store clerk came and talked to him and said to him hey it looks like we have a push out here the clerk he was going outside to get his credit card but he never came back. Fairfax police chief, steve kelly, tells 9 on your side the cincinnati sergeant followed jones out of the store and thats when he took off. Police dispatchers put out a description of a black suv. 00 42 our officer was coming southbound on red bank and the vehicle was going northbound on red bank. 45 the fairfax officer pulled jones over. 00 51 at the time, the subject did stop. When our officer approached the vehicle, the subject talked to the officer 58 but then police say jones put the car into gear and drove off. A police chase took place on northbound i71, ending in a crash off the kenwood road exit. 01 52 it was early in the morning, the suspect fled, if he just would have complied. 56jones hit a rock wall and then ran way. Police lost him as he entered the woods near the mall. Soon after police learned the suv was stolen out of lexington, kentucky. Police say a canine was called in and could not locate jones. An Indianapolis Elementary School principal is dead after being hit by a school bus. Bus. The woman was killed when the bus went over the curb and struck her outside the building. It happened as school was letting out around 3 o clock. Two other kids were hurt when the bus lunged forward. The schools superintendent is asking for the communitys support. Leader. Twenty five kids were on board the bus when it happened. Police have not yet said what may have caused the accident. The man accused of molesting at least seven children sits in jail on a one Million Dollar bond tonight. Rekowski drugged young girls ages four and ten before sexually assaulting them. On different occasions. The girls are all children of his friends and neighbors. Rekowski was arrested earlier this month after a friend found lewd photos on his phone and a demanded he confess to the four year olds mother. That woman called police to report him.
