Water started flowing even before the sun was shining here at norwood middle school. Students unloaded case after case of water from parents who were dropping off their kids. Others from the Community Also stopped to donate. The water drive was started by avenues for success. A norwood afterschool program. The drive is in partnership with the snc norwood church. Which is also collecting water. The groups say norwood has a special connection with flint because both cities were ravaged by the decline of the auto industry. Organizers say theyre overwhelmed so far by the amount of water donated. Donated. I wish we could do that everyday. We need to do that everyday.
