A woman who police say was high behind the wheel when she hit a cyclist and drove away. Leaving him with life threatening injuries. Injuries. This morning Melinda Woodall was arraigned on she told the court this morning she was distracted by passengers when she hit Michael Prater on his bicycle yesterday on kellogg road in anderson township. She says she drove off because she panicked. When police found her near her jeep about five miles away. They say she appeared to be when they searched her purse they found five syringes. They also found three pill bottles shed tried to hide in her bra. Prater is still in the hospital at this hour. Police say wearing a helmet likely saved his life.
