That is also where we do have some bands of oceaneffect snow that are ongoing from plymouth down to bourne, falmouth over to hyannis and up towards provincetown as well. In this area this morning, these snow bands are going to be persistent through about midday or so. Then they will be tapering off. The boys mother says shes not sure how long her son was left alone in a van but what we do know is that the driver was running 40 minutes late analogiedly left the van to escort another student to class. The boys mother tells newscenter 5 somebody saw her son in the van and got help. The door was unlocked, and the engine wasnt on. He could have had a severe asthma attack. Hes five years old. He doesnt know how to treat his asthma. You need to dress for wind chills that will be running sub zero and even by noontime, this is what it is going to feel like either side of 10 degrees so youre going to want to bundle up throughout the day. So sunshine from the getgo here but across parts of the south shore and the cape, you can see these snow bands are persisting right now from plymouth do bourne down to falmouth and edgartown. These extend eastward toward the mid cape around hyannis as well.
