Protesters in charlotte have been demanding the release of the police video of the officerinvolved shooting of keith scott. And today, the chief in charlotte did just that. That. The dash cam video Shows Charlotte officers surrounding a car yelling drop the gun, you can also hear a woman saying he doesnt have a gun. Scott eventually gets out of an suv, his hands at his side as he backs away. You continue to hear someone yell drop the gun and then shots are fired. Nats bang bang bang bangfrom angle, body camera video shows an officer pointing a gun at scott while the 43yearold stands outside his car. Police chief kerr putney says scott had a gun in his hand, but that cannot be seen on the video. The Department Also released a photograph of a gun found at the scene and said tests revealed scotts dna and fingerprints on the weapon. Kenneth the family of keith scott was shown the video a couple days ago. Tonight, their lawyer talked about what they saw. Saw. He doesnt lunge at the officers. Appears he has his hands at his side. Again, there is no definitive evidence in this video as to whether or not there is an object in his hand and if there is, what that object is. Family members dispute the police was carrying a gun when he was shot. Watch for continuing coverage as the investigation continues. It happened in the backyard of a germantown home overnight. Police say it was an experiment with gasoline gone wrong and now three people are seriously hurt. Cbs 58s evan kruegel has the story. Were told two of those victims suffered critical burns to 40 of their body and are now being treated at the burn center in milwaukee. nat a bon fire gone wrong at this home off kings way they were sitting on a patio with a grill, a fire pit, and they threw some gasoline in it to stoke the fire and the gasoline splashed on one of the girls and literally caught her on fire weiss says a second woman was critically burned while trying to put out the fire. The man who poured the gasoline also suffered serious that melted to his chest, and he has burns on his hands instead of calling 911 police say a resident tried to drive the two female victims to the hospital but crashed into a sign at this intersection. She then pulled into this mcdonalds to call for an ambulance both victims were transported to st. Marys hospital in milwaukee, one by germantown ambulance, the other by flight for lifeit just delayed our or death in some cases weiss says this is a prime example of the dangers that come with lighting a bon fire with liquid fuels. Walker also strongly urged people to Pay Attention to safety warnings. If Emergency Management and determined that its not safe for people to be going through those areas, i just implore people to stay advised and not just say it looks like its some standing water, people have no idea whats been washed out and what hasnt. Made its debut at the Milwaukee Film festival. Viewers like katherine weisbeck called it an eyeopener. Katherinewatching it unfold and seeing the interviews with the girls, was really, very dramatic. The movie profiles the stabbing of a young girl by two of her classmates Morgan Geyser and anissa weier in waukesha. They claim to be inspired by the character. Milwaukee Film Festival organizers say they wanted to let it premiere locally first. Before it came to hbo. Working with the filmmakers and network to make it happen.
