But this afternoon, we have warmed into the low 60s. So you still need the jacket but with the sunshine and the mostly clear skies around, it is actually fairly nice this afternoon. You can see a nice view there. And for tonight, temperatures going to be nearly as cold. We do have frost advisories that have been issued citrus and Hernando County from 1 00 a. M. 9 00 a. M. The Northern Counties could be dealing with frost by tomorrow morning. And temperatures now cooler along the coast, sitting in the mid to upper 50 east in 58 in new port richey. And 68 inland toward brandon. And were even topping out near 70 in bartow. Temperatures this afternoon still below average but fairly comfortable with the blue skies. A little bit more cloud cover to the south and the rain staying well south of us in south florida. We are looking at dry conditions for the rest of tonight. And it will be breezier and tomorrow is going to be just as cold because see the cold front to the north . This will shift over us through tonight and tomorrow morning and leaving with us the north winds and temperatures about the same as we head into the overnight hours. So were quickly falling back into the 50s for this evening. Into the overnight hour, we expect a few cloud, temperatures in the 40s waking up tomorrow. The dot the dot opened a much anticipated traffic northbound i275 in tampa today. The dips and curves of the temporary roadway are gone but the traffic snarls are still there. Reporter im mark douglas on 275 northbound in tampa where the growing pain of transportation are quite evident, even after the opening of the new alignment for northbound the traffic. There are three lanes of traffic moving on a more Straight Path here. But there is still a lot of congestion and slow moving traffic. Thats because the d. O. T. Has not completed the fourth lane. They tell me, that might not happen for as long as as two months and until then, it may look like this. We could only hope it will get better as soon as motorists adjust to the new traffic alignment. In tampa, mark douglas, news channel 8. Tampa police are taking a look at four bold robberies in a south tampa neighborhood. The breakins happened saturday the thief kicked in doors and stole electronic, a firearm and other valuables. In one case, the homeowner was in the shower when the thief hit. Were very fortunate that they did not cross paths. Apparently there was someone home at one of those homes. By the time he, you know, realized that the burglar had been in the house, the burglar was long gone. Tampa police have a photo if a surveillance camera that may help them solve the case. It was of a white car that was the outside one of the homes that was broken into for about 15 minutes before the home was hit. Police are working on several leads in this specific case. Today in his state of the state address, governor rick scott layed out his agenda for lawmakers. He is pushing a billiondollar tax cut that he says will help florida keep creating jobs. So we will just see a few clouds return, just as cold tonight as we saw yesterday looks like.
