Its a b. , not bashar alassad. You know 65 degrees bad. You know 65 degrees will be the high today but boy things are changing after the sunset tonight. The rain rolls in and a chance for some storms tomorrow. More on the slight risk for a few isolated strong to severe storms coming up in floridas most accurate seven day. [ chanting ] an overnight celebration in california. Winning Powerball Ticket. And you might be holding another one in your hands right now. Well recap the lucky numbers that are making someone in florida a history making right now, theres a record breaking out of season hurricane churning in the pacific. It may be just january but this helped hurricane polly take shape and strengthen into a category 2 storm on tuesday. That makes the earliest Tropical Cyclone on record. In the central pacific. Fortunately its over 1,000 miles away from hawaii and doesnt pose a threat to land. Lets check this out. The atlantic seeing some tropical activity as well. Our first named storm of the year. This is Subtropical Storm Alex becoming the first system to claim a name for the 2016 truck Hurricane Season. This atlantic Hurricane Season. This one in the far eastern atlantic off africa but packing winds and heading to the asores. Could make a mess there as it moves up to greenland. Shay in the next couple of days, but wow haunt that . The warm how about that . The warm sea surface temperatures. That will do it. And i know the question always comes next is does that mean were going to have an active Hurricane Season here in tampa bay this year and whats happening now has no direct correlation to what our so again, well continue to monitor that as we get closer to june. All right a look at whats going on right now on titan Doppler Radar and you can see absolutely nothing. Were nice and dry as were starting the day. The futurecast showing a lot of cloud cover across the area. And yeah, that is exact mr. Hare seeing what were seeing outside right now and through the day, we will continue to see a lot of cloud cover. Around healthcare we start 4 00 we start to see a little moisture starting to build and maybe an isolated shower before sunset. Especially south of tampa bay or inland. But the better chance for rain starts after sunset and thats when we start to see the hit or miss scattered showers. And 6 00 tomorrow morning, you can see how the rain is really just starting to build in around the area. But the models have started to pull back a little bit for the Early Morning commute. On how much widespread rain well have. And start to show the rain chances picking up around 8 00 in the morning as this low gets closer to us. And that whole frontal boundary gets closer to us as well. Off and on and even beginning at after sunset tonight and continuing through the day tomorrow. But the peak time where i think well have the most widespread rain, the heaviest rain and when we will be watching for that slight risk for a severe storm to develop will be between 8 00 in the morning and about 2 00 in the afternoon. Now if the timing of this system changes at all, that will impact the timing here for that chance for severe storms so we need to keep a very close eye on on this and my suggestion would be make sure that you have storm shield on your mobile device so you can be alerted wherever you are tomorrow if we do have any warnings. Temperatures this morning, near 50 degrees. Were going to top out today in the mid 60s. Again tomorrow the biggest concern for weather over the next seven days and then our next front comes through with colder push of air but not quite as stormy just a chance for some showers especially early. Again no crashes or breakdowns. Traffic moving pretty well across the bridges. Lets see exact little how long its going to take you to get across the bay this morning. Mainly in the mid 60s but there will be chance for a few showers once we get beyond sunset. And the temperatures wont be falling quite as dramatically though. As our next system rolls through, were going to see some warm moist air moving in.
