The person who called 911 told deputies that the homeowner has schlosser may be suicidal and that there were a number of weapons in the house. Authorities say at first they tried to use nonlethal weapons to take schlosser into custody. A friend says he heard several gunshots and saw schlosser being rushed into an ambulance.
