This all started around 9 00 when a man walked into la familia with a dog. The owner argued with that man over the dog and the man left. The man came back a half hour late we are a knife and held the owner and another worker behind the counter while he tried to get the register. They struggled. Worked their way out from and how the counter to the front where the owner, the suspect, and another coworker were all three men were taken to the hospital with nonlifethreatening injuries. So far police have not said face. This morning, police are also investigating a stabbing in roxbury that happened around 9 30 last night on warren send street. Investigators only telling us one person was hurt and taken to the hospital with nonlifethreatening injuries. Police have not released any information about a suspect. Intense flames light up central massachusetts. The smoke from this old mill fire can be seen for miles. This morning investigators are trying to determine what spark sparked the flames from a business. Skyfox over the scene that was breaking during our 5 p. M. Newscast at a wood refurbishing shop in oxford. The business does not have a town. When crews first arrived the building was completely engulf building was completely engulfed in flames. They were concerned of possible toxic chemicals from a building because it used to be home to a Plastics Company and the Plastics Company and the company next door does asbestos work. The other problem was getting water on the fire. Drafting water out of a pond down the road from us and also the dam. Fire fighters monitored the air quality in the area because of the chemical concerns but determined there was no threat to the public. New details this morning of two missing roommates from manchester, new hampshire. Fox25 has learned the missing man Steven Andrade was found dead on tuesday. Authorities found him with an apparent selfinflicted gunshot wound at a motel six. His roommate Steve Hutchinson is still missing. Andrade may have been the last person to see her. Hutchinsons family said she left him to live with her family because he was a family friend. The two disappeared in september. Investigation into a camera phone video taken inside a High School Locker room. Fox25 has learned this video is ten seconds long and shows a to his locker. It was recorded after football practice on monday and shared by teammates on a group chat. We are told the player in the video is a minor. As my friend was walking to his locker naked with a towel in his hand, that is what was on the video. School officials have forced the Football Team to forfeit tomorrows game against gloucester. This morning the Suffolk CountyDistrict Attorneys Office is working with Winthrop Police on this investigation. The tragic search for a missing cargo ship is now over. At sundown last night, the coast guard officially ended the search for the 33 crewmembers on board el faro. The ship sank off the bahamas during hurricane joaquin. President obama issued a statement offering comfort to the victims families. Among those on board three sailors from massachusetts. Jeffrey mathias, Keith Griffin and mariette wright. Hundreds of family members and those on board. Julie last night a large crowd in kingston to honor jeffrey mathias. The 42yearold was a consultant on the ship. Anthony ray made email threats in norwood and providence, rhode island as well as chicago and raleigh, north carolina. Police arrested ray in june, and he was released on conditions he didnt use electronic devices; however, he violated that order by sending more email threats. Michael he in court yesterday in a wheelchair because he has a broken leg and dislocated knee. He said he stabbed the neighbor because of ongoing problems. New morning, the mbta is adding nonstop Commuter Rail service between worcester and boston. Starting in may, one train will run to boston in the morning and back to worcester at night. The ride will take under an hour. Two more express trains will also be added. They will reach boston in 75 minutes. The current route makes 16 stops and takes 90 minutes. A busy road in manchester will be shut down for the next day or two. Part of brown avenue must be rebuilt following a massive water main break. It happened yesterday morning. The onandoff ramps to 293 north are also closed. The break caused a large sinkhole to form in the road. Avoid the area if possible. So tomorrow is our kind of messy day in the mix and we have this nice, bright weather that sets up for the entire columbus day weekend, saturday, sunday looking amazing. Satellite and radar, not a whole lot going on right now. We have a little bit of patchy cloud cover hanging over the cape and islands, thats on its way out. All we have to watch is a little bit of fog developing and those usually prone locations. Temperatures right now in boston is 56 degrees. And as we head into the afternoon we will scoot up to only the lower 60s. Not a huge warmup. A couple of Early Morning clouds here. In fact temperatures go down in the next hours. 8 a. M. 54 degrees.
