Hourbyhour, with the cloud cover, those winds staying persistent out of the northeast, looking as though we are going to remain in the 50s and the city of boston with a lot of clouds around. I wouldnt be surprised if we actually see a little sunshine the further north you go as the
High Pressure to the north tries to build south, but the further south you are, you will likely be stuck in the clouds with off noticing wind for tomorrow, once again out of the northeast, so that persistent onshore wind keeping things coolest at the coast, with the clouds. But, there may be a few breaks and thats going to boost the temperatures into the 60s further north and west you go. Really depending upon how much sun we do see. A lot of

And that wind is sustained around 1020

African Methodist Episcopal Church apartment three weeks ago. These are the parents who disappeared at the same time. Police say the marnlts,
Michael Mccaster and
Bobby Joe Guyer took off after losing custody of the children. The parents have also been located, the children range in age from 3 to 9, once again they have been found safe. We will have a live report on this breaking update at 5 p. M. We have all seen the picture, torrential rains bringing on flooding, people trapped. And
First Responders have seconds to react. Local rescuer assisted this time of year is whe concerned about people being trapped by floods. Firefighters from around the area spent the day training for this very real thing and they took me along to see how intense it can be when seconds matter the most. The weather is going to be an issue, when you are doing a real live rescue its not a sunny, bright warm day. These firefighters from around the area together as one team, facing the wind, the and this boat churning waves to mimic the perfect conditions they might face in the weeks ahead, still, in hurricane season. One of the kind of up and coming dangers we face is urban flooding. So, a lot of training is to learn the obstacles and the challenges of dealing with flooding in an urban setting. For days they have been going over how to save someone if caught in swift water. We are going this way, blue and red, ready. To see it firsthand, cam bridge firefighters indiana votes vited me to join jumping in, being the one who needed help. They have been working more advanced scenarios, like this one, where they had me sit in the boat taking on water. Chelsea firefighter mike lee is above and hoists down to pull me out. Anything can happen at any given minute. So, just kind of keeping, you know, a steady mind and focusing on, you know, the job at hand, rescuers prepare for now, for when they answer someones real call for help. They are getting trained personnel, when they come they know that they are firemen and police and ems know what they are doing. And really they have been doing this training last week and this week again, the same conditions today, it was awful out there. They said it was perfect because they rarely respond to
Something Like this when its gorgeous and the water is calm. Yeah, there is nothing train you for a situation like that. I just have to say, you are totally dry. Well, it was the suit, you know. I borrowed a suit and it suctioned every where and i was like, wow, my genes and shirt are fine, go back to work. Quite the day. Fascinating story though. Well, a virginia man took the long way to boston. He has been walking for two yeergs across the country in epihos of helping homeless veterans. 54 yearold leroy bailey has been walking the perimeter of the county or the country, rather, for the past 27 months. Virginia beach june 30th, 2014. And he has traveled more than 10,000 miles since then. His goal is to get people to
Pay Attention to and fund his mission to build shelter, he calls, centers for homeless veterans. Its ridiculous in this country that we care more about animals than people and its ridiculous we are more willing to take in refugees from other countries and house them but we dont cake care of the people that serve this country. Thats just saddest thing in the nation. His goals people to donate 10 a month so that centers can be built across the country. If you would like to be part of the mission go to fox 25 boss bosston. Com and we have more information there. Now your local forecast from meteorologist soabl and the fox 25
Storm Tracker weather team. Feel of fall definitely in effect today. It was a chilly one, and temperatures actually dropped through the day. But earlier today, boston got to a low of about 61 degrees, 60, clouds and persistent northeasterly wind allow for temperatures to be on the chilly side. We are in the 50s right now, radar has a has trouble sometimes picking up on some drizzle, but there will be some areas of drizzle as you are driving home this evening or if you have plans this evening just be prepared, lots of clouds, too, lower 50s in places like temple, pepperill at 57 and southeast you can see radar trying to pick up on some moisture, so areas of drizzle off and on as we head on through the evenings hours. 60 in brews a little milder i guess you can say for parts of the outer cape. Boston, you know its 56 degrees with these clouds. You take in the wind and it feels even cooler. And that wind has been persistent out of the northeast, gusting over 20, along the coast the southeastern areas, the cape and the islands. Just helping to bring some moisture off the ocean inland, and thats why we have got the clouds and we will still see the rick of drizzle as we head through the overnight hours. So, those wind chill wipers are needed at times as we head temperatures mainly in the 50s, not really budging, when you have the cloud cover in place. Waking up tomorrow morning, we may have a few areas that have temperatures that dip back into the 40s to the north and west, but still, a lot of clouds, some spot drizzle for the morning commute, especially across the eastern and southeastern areas. You will probably notice what about this cloud cover to the northwest . Sure, enough,
High Pressure to the north may begin to nose down on thursday, tomorrow, that may allow for brighter conditions the go, you may see some shine, will it make it to boston . We have to watch for it. It will be hard for the wind off the water. The further south and east you will go, you are locked under the clouds and still the chance of off and on drizzle. So, there may be some improvements in the afternoon and with any improvement, we could see temperatures jump up into the 60, otherwise we will go with upper 50s to near 60 degrees across the area tomorrow. Again, with the wind still sir cyst tent out of the northeast about 1020
Miles Per Hour, so best chances of seeing a little sunshine and a break i guess you can say from the pattern, will be the further north and west you go, but its not going to last long. High pressure to the north which will be trying to nose down and will scoot back north by friday and into the weekend, and this upper level low, out to the west, will continue to dive to the south and that will push this front closer to our area. And bring us a better chance of some steadier rain. So, taking it into motion for you, you can see by tomorrow afternoon, there is the area of southward. The clouds staying tough along the south coast, best chances of steadier rain down to the mid atlantic, but as we head into friday, notice what happens. The rain begins to get a little bit closer and as we head into our friday, the chances of showers will begin to move into our area and that threat will continue even as we head into saturday. Noticing some wet conditions there for your weekend plans. Taking a look at the sevenday forecast, your weekend is always in view. The risk of showers will also linger into our sunday. So you want to watch the not as complete steady rain through the weekend, but you will notice the temperatures staying in the 60s, could see the showers linger through monday, depending upon how quickly the system moves out of here. Best bet is we will see improvement as we head into the middle part of next week. But, i have got a latest updates on the tropic and will bring it to you in the next hour.
