He told us, people often bring their cars here to burn them. He also said, dumping garbage and other waste has also been a long time issue. But he was surprised to find police found a body inside this burned out car. We dont have any problems whatsoever. The reporter this afternoon, we spotted crime scene investigators removing evidence from what was left of the car before towing it away. Fire and police first arrived last night around 10 30 p. M. , and found the car engulfed in flames. After putting the fire out, thats when they discovered the body. Lee Cunningham Said once police arrived, officers began asking neighbors what they had seen and heard. They just asked questions, you know, like, did you see a vehicle in the area, did you see how many people were driving. The reporter residents told us, crime isnt a problem here, and still feel this area is a good place to live. Its just a safe city, you know, its a safe part of the city. Those questions mainly from police tonight, as they had officers in plainclothes here at the scene 24 hours later, to see street. The accident happened around 3 30 p. M. Yesterday. Two women crossing the street in the crosswalk. One woman, in her 70s, hit and killed. The other, still in the hospital. It happened right in front of where Steve Garrity has lived for 20 years. Joseph doucette of waltham faces charges for sending obscene matter to a minor an enticement of a child. Police say doucette sent obscene pictures to a 15yearold boy from watertown. A Pepperell Police officer is a accused of strangling an intoxicated woman at the police station. 53yearold armando her ra was arraigned today on several charges for an incident that happened back in september. The woman was placed into custody and brought to the police station, because for alleged intoxication. She was placed in the cell and started yelling. Thats when herra allegedly went into the cell and started to strangle her. Herra allegedly filed false reports trying to cover up the incident. Hell be back in court next month. Mark the search is still on for an elderly woman who went missing two weeks ago in lowell. Sky fox overhead today, capturing k9 units and an air wing combing the area around 67yearold crespos apartment building. The officers were searching all the areas accessible by someone on food. Last night, we talked about the highest risk of clouds and showers to the south, especially the south coast. Thats where it played out well today. So were still seeing some of the showers out here, out on cape cod, pea town to eastham seeing light showers along the national sea shore. Pretty much it. Coast here, trying to curl into the coastal areas overnight and through the day tomorrow. These will stay on the south shore hand south coast of massachusetts and new england. Tomorrow. So a lot of clouds around boston and to the south, a lot of clouds, but showers in hyannis. This is going to start in hyannis with the rainshowers. Notice temperatures staying fairly sted definitely this is the highest risk for rainshowers working in later tonight through the day tomorrow. Boston will stay dry, but cloudy with temperature around 61 for a low, thats it. Maybe upper 50s out in the back bay area. And then finally to worcester, a lot of clouds, temperatures staying in the 50s, but staying dry. Its the south shore and south coast that will see the showers work on in and future
