The reporter it was a couple who found the baby, just sitting on the side of the road in raleigh this morning and i was able to speak to them both, to tom and mark, they live in ipswich, but they have a shop in amesbury and they were going down the road on the way to work this morning and tom said he looked on the side of the road and saw what he thought at first was a doll, but then thought it might be a little baby, and he told his wife, he said, i think theres a child on the side of the road sitting there, so he turned the car around, they got out, and there was the child, sitting like buddah in a pile of leaves around 9 30 a. They thought the child was a boy because of the hair, but they also noticed the contusion on the forehead, a contusion they said that looked like a rug burn. They reached out to pick up the child, they said the child was looking down. They picked up the child to try to help and thats when they realized the baby was completely naked, so they grabbed a jacket or towel and they put the baby in the car, put the heat on, and called 911 and they said police were there, it seemed like immediately and they took over, but just an unbelievable site, to see that little child on the side of the road, 9 30 a.
