Cant wait to have time to sit with my family to Start Talking about things. Meanwhile, were just getting prepared for the playoffs and to [inaudible] you know what, i dont really feel like hes home yet, you know what im saying . Like im so busy doing so many sat down to think about things. Thats probably good, you know, because, you know, the sentimental part of it, its just not there yet, but it happened to all of us. At some point, you know, the big man, you know, tearing up, and its part of the emotion, you know, the stuff as a human, we its been an honor, you know, being honored by this ball club, and last night was a littlener advice, im not going to lie to you, because i have my family in the field, i dont know what the reaction is going to be, and im very concerned about my family, by man, when i say mariano and the way things went down in new york, that was like a big relief for me, and appreciate how everything went down last night, thanking the yankees for taking their time and doing what they did. [speaking in spanish. [ youre soaking it all in, but we all know youre a competitor too. After the series in new york, a little bit of anger . [inaudible] definitely, you want to make sure that you finish the regular season fired up, you know, you want to be in the right mood, you want to walk home w what im saying, and in new york, i guess, you know, just winning the division and stuff like that. There was a lot things going on. I guess john decided to give some of the guys a day off and stuff like that. I guess besides, new york played really well the past three days, like that was a want everybody to be on the right track. I dont know how john could have played out the lineup the next three days, but we all know that you want to you want to walk into the playoff with a fire, you know, with, you know, the energy the playoff, what we ask you for, so were going to play the game the way its supposed to be the next three days, playoff. Stacy. Is it getting harder to separate what you have to do in the game . Yeah. Im not going to lie to you, and the good thing is we into the playoff, so for the next three days, i dont have to really worry about it. But the best thing about it is that once we walk into the playoff, its not going to be all this distraction, you know what im saying . Because i like to be focused. When i play, especially when im playing for the division, we work extremely hard in the regular season to get to the playoff and i dont want to blow know, going through all those things and play baseball at the same time, you know, it can cause a distraction, and but we are at the end of it, so im going to try to enjoy the three days, and be ready to play in the playoff. Mark all right. So youve been listening into big papi as he begins his final regular Season Series at fenway park, his career, when you look back at the body of work this man has done since he came here as a free agent and Pedro Martinez said you ought to sign this guy, great move, move pedro him and understand where weve gone and we were talking about it as we were watching it. Elizabeth he transcended baseball, just like you say. He was the icon of this city, he has been, but to see him go, its bittersweet. Mark and our tom leyden is there, you heard his question at the press conference, he said we do have to turn things around here, we have lost our way a little bit, he wants to stand winning games and get ready for the playoffs in style.
