Youre waking up to sunshine and a rebound in temperatures back 60s. Tomorrow is a mild day. It will be mild again on saturday. This stretches all the way back here. So you can see them off to the north and well. This is all ahead of our next storm system. Our next storm system is way out to the well. Youve got to slide this way to find it. This is it where the winds are coming from the south, thats the warm air direction, so this is where the warm air sits right now. In fact, maybe some record warmth this to the midwest ahead of this storm, but as the storm comes toward us, its got this part of it too. Theres snow in backid snowing in denver right now, for instance, its snowing up here in to the dakotas as well, so this whole storm coming toward us has both of those parts. The direction that main storm wants to go is up this way. That seems to be good for us, right . That would take most of it away from us, but the front is going to drag through our area, its definitely going to cool us down and change raindrops to sleet and potentially snowflakes too and the problem is that front isnt in a hurry to get out of here and may allow another storm our area. The way it looks right now, we are dry the next couple of days. Thats almost certain. On sunday though, thats when change comes. Lets look at that more closely. It will get windy and colder and have a 70 chance for showers to come on in. Initially, theres not a ton of moisture with this front. That means you get less precipitation. However, as the front comes across, you receive the green changing over to the pink and eventually to the blue and white, thats a mix to snow. Much of the snow will stay in the high elevations of the mountains into the berkshes however, some of this is going to come into southern new england, so there will be mixing happening, as the cold air comes on through. Now, that cold front sits offshore, allowing another storm to form along. Thats the indications of another storm right along that front to our south. This whole system spinning over the top of us, with the cold air. Can produce a little bit more snow activity for us sunday into monday. And thats something that still has to be ironed out, see how fast this front is going to come on through. Thats why we have some snow conditions and cold temperatures, only 45 degrees for a high on monday. And thats not even talking about the storm after that, which is not associated with this one, that looks to bring some rain for thanksgiving, something well be tackling as the evening goes on.
