The captain is in serious condition after being shot in the shoulder. He also has a grace pruned on his head. But the veteran of close to 30 years is expected to survive. He and other officers were trying to arrest a man in connection with a shooting of a least three people last weekend in indianapolis. The suspect has been identified and is now in custody, daniel brown. He had been traced to his sisters apartment through a semi tractor trailer he allegedly has stolen. A Fugitive Task force member knocked on the door in the 7200 block around 5 30 p. M. The gunman started to shoot out the window. Officers pulled the capt. Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a teenage girl on her way home from a homecoming event. The teen was walking alone near Proviso East High School just before midnight last friday.
